The deal was actually completely torn up and redone under a new name.

And the US got much better terms. Those better terms will mostly come at Mexico's expense.

Yes, Asia in general has hoodwinked the USA. I think it is imperative to rein in China on world-trade (especially with our border allies) to ensure our brand is placated/stimulated over imports from any market not in the Americas.
