It's funny watching Team DeSantis whining on social media it isn't fair Trump and his supporters are mostly just going after him and not the other candidates. I just tell them to quit crying and once most of the billionaires jump to another candidate he will aim most of his attacks there.
You think they would at least be smart enough to not do that.

Im not sure their is a lot to talk about. I think most DeSantis supporters ( myself included ) knew that the odds were very tall to begin with. It obviously hasnt worked out, he's not exactly a charismatic figure. I think many DeSantis supporters ( myself included ) take issue with the characterization of DeSantis record here in Florida, and how he has conductd himself as governor. We are blessed to have him as our governor. He simply doesnt have the juice to win over the national audience

I think there is finally pushback against all the myths Team DeSantis was pushing on the Trump supporters that were considering him for a while. Telling people how great he was on Covid etc. when a couple of second google search showed he was not one of the good Rep Govs on that and besides the restrictions/closures he put in place a couple of times in 2020 he was a huge vaccine pusher - which was one of their big attacks on Trump.

I do wonder what Fox News/ the billionaire PAC donors do about him dropping like this. It wouldn't shock me if they set DeSantis up some at the debate and pushed someone like Scott hoping for a miracle.

Yep a lot of the talent that they had pushing DeSantis are realizing it is likely not going to happen. I t will be interesting to see who they push after the debate. Vivek talks a good game but contradicts everything he said in the past to try to appeal to the base voters. They may decide someone like Scott is the safe choice for 2nd and just pray the left can lock Trump up.
Vivek is definitely a very skilled orator. But really that’s where it ends. I don’t even think he believes much of what he is saying. In fact, we know he doesn’t. Should have gotten rid of his history sooner.
