Even KalimGoodman can't be dumb enough not to realize that regardless of her Republican/Trump voting record, this is about her hatred for Trump and ONE vote she did cast and why the dems love her and why she is on that committee. On second thought, he is dumb enough not to get it.

Cheney should be history but I guess the best result to help get Murkowski outed in the general election is for only one Democrat to make the top 4 in the AK senate primary and for Dustin Darden to get a top 4 finish.

So being loyal to Trump but votes 50-60% of the time with the Rs makes you more of a Republican then someone who votes 90-95% with the Rs but hate Trump?

I think the Wyoming results start just after 9 pm eastern and Alaska not until after midnight so I might wait to check the Alaska stuff in the morning.
The US House race in AK is a crazy thing ballot wise because I think they are doing a special election to fill the remainder of the term until Jan 2023 and they are also conducting the primary for the 2 year term starting in Jan 2023. Talk about confusing if that is what is happening. Sarah Palin is running in both I think but doesn't appear to be a strong lock to win for sure because of multiple candidates and the ranked choice voting for the special election.

I am curious what the final primary results are for that Alaska senate race and the special election US House race as it might show if the Dems are going to show up in decent numbers for the general election. I think the better the Dem turnout the better chance we can get Murkowski booted out of office with Trump's candidate winning that race.

@kalimgoodman what you don’t understand is this is a representative republic, not a pure democracy. She was elected in a state that Trump won by an extreme margin (70/30?).
Tonight is what happens when you are diametrically opposed to your electorate, when you don’t represent your electorate. Any issues you have can be taken up with the voters of WY and the system of governance in the USA. You can vote one way on 500 issues but if you get the big one wrong you’re done.
