My opinion is that not all 34 chargers are really that strong based on his own explanation. Bragg seem to overcharge because he expects the Judge to toss plenty of them. Bragg didn't release his evidence, which is smart. Just seems like a blah case overall. Just stupid 🙄.
At the end of the day, Trump won't be convicted on this. This is where being a former president helps him. If this was a regular citizen, it would probably be a plea deal.

I called a buddy who is licensed to practice in New York and he says the thing about this charge is it's pretty easy to violate the misdemeanor statute BY ACCIDENT and still get in trouble. He then says it's often used to make low level accountants roll on their bosses because apparently if you alter a record at the behest of your supervisor you're immune from prosecution.

I don't believe in precedent. To say he wouldn't be charged if he wasn't president is incorrect because they (NY) charge people with those crimes more than any other state. That is kind of what they do.
