Trump just said at Mar Lago (I thought he was in jail???) that Georgia wants to SETTLE its case against Trump.

And Trump has refused. Such a baller.

Lucy just pulled the football back again. What comes after Georgia? @Uniformed_ReRe told me the biggest, the absolute best case was coming next.

I think it’s the American hating leftist hack in NY that wanted to settle the civil case not the racist in Georgia where there is nothing to settle

@EvilWayz, as the only objective one about this. What are your thoughts after the charges were announced?

My opinion is that not all 34 chargers are really that strong based on his own explanation. Bragg seem to overcharge because he expects the Judge to toss plenty of them. Bragg didn't release his evidence, which is smart. Just seems like a blah case overall. Just stupid 🙄.

At the end of the day, Trump won't be convicted on this. This is where being a former president helps him. If this was a regular citizen, it would probably be a plea deal.

No, he won't be convicted because Bragg is a dumb ass and this is a flagrant abuse of prosecutorial discretion.

The bolded part is side-splittingly humorous ...

Shock. I was expecting 30+ misdemeanors.

Do you see why Bama and others were concerned about breaking precedent now?

This spaghetti against the wall strategy is used in RICO cases and criminal conspiracy cases. I called a buddy who is licensed to practice in New York and he says the thing about this charge is it's pretty easy to violate the misdemeanor statute BY ACCIDENT and still get in trouble. He then says it's often used to make low level accountants roll on their bosses because apparently if you alter a record at the behest of your supervisor you're immune from prosecution.

No that's what got him charged in the first place.

No a regular citizen would have gotten pre trial intervention and a fine.

Yes, I’ve read all 56 pages of this. Very entertaining, keep it coming. My only comment is about the “horseface” reference. That sums up our former president. And to have someone cheer how wonderful such comment is goes to show how hypocritical some can be. There was a different thread proclaiming God will intervene. Many agreed how great our God is. I agree. So how does a Christian feel about calling a person, a fellow human being, anyone, a horseface, a POS or a whore? That is all.

She deserves any name she gets called for the crap she pulled on him.

The Fat bastard is getting destroyed by ever prosecuter I've watched calling these charges embarrassing. They said first year law student knows better.. He has no secondary crime.…Nothing in the 16 page document……nothing here you Idiot

FYI. The POS Judges daughter worked for whoremala….how has he not recused himself?

I do wonder how they think they can use a crime they cant even prosecute themselves that wasnt charged by the feds to upgrade this nonsense to felonies. Michael Cohen pleading to a bogus charge because he was threatened shouldnt have any effect on this case and the legalities of it.

I could have told you this...it has been reported for weeks. Statute of limitations run out after 2 years. This will be thrown out WAY before it ever gets started. He is STATE prosecutor...not Federal. He has ZERO authority to do what he is trying to do. Secondly, he HAS to tell what charges turned it in to a felony(even though he does not have authority) he failed to do so. This will be dismissed...they already know this. This is just a VERY, VERY lame attempt to mke Trump look bad to stupid people who watch 5 min of news daily
Plus, it will be in the news and Trump will be stuck in court in Dec and Jan when he should be out campaigning.

A whore is someone that gets paid to have sex. It doesn't stipulate an exception when there's a camera crew involved.

It's not insulting, it's applicable.
Someone on here referred to Kamala as one, too. Definitely a slur. (PS: not a fan of her, just proving my point.)

Whore gets paid up front, and is paid for her silence.

Porn star gets a check after, and is paid for her display for public consumption.

Don't say accident and any suggestion of that is gaslighting. Trump is on tape discussing a payoff. Come on man, don't be naive. We all know he did what it is being accused of but I don't see it on a felony level. That's the stretch that Bragg is failing at right now.

I don't believe in precedent. To say he wouldn't be charged if he wasn't president is incorrect because they (NY) charge people with those crimes more than any other state. That is kind of what they do.

If they did it was in reference to her sleeping with powerful people for professional gain, which has been well documented.

If it wasn’t a felony he couldn’t be charged because of the statute of limitations.

Which means you just said Bragg is failing at everything right now.

Ooohhh! Such extensive research.

Cause they know that the only people that had access to the indictment to leak it....were democrats.

malone knows the political affiliation of phantom leaker...

For all he knows it was the nightime janitor

@Uniformed_ReRe @gatorspeed @RayGravesGhost you guys ok?

And is Trump in jail yet?

He's already been to jail today...you missed it?

In order to be RELEASED on his own recognizance you have to be released from "something"

That "something" is JAIL dumb dumb 🤣

After notices are served, the prosecutor may ask, for certain offenses, the court to keep the accused in jail (remanded) or released on bail.[5][16][17] Otherwise, the accused is released on their own recognizance (ROR'd) with the least restrictive conditions necessary to reasonably assure the person will come back to court.[17] If the accused is released, the accused must appear in court every time their case is calendared (scheduled for a court hearing), and if they fail to appear the judge may forfeit their bail and issue a bench warrant for their arrest, although judges may excuse defendants from having to show up at every court appearance.[5][18]

Which means you just said Bragg is failing at everything right now.

So why would trump waive his right to a speedy trial if Bragg is failing at everything?

If that was case wouldn't you push to get the case decided right now?

trump didn't because Bragg isn't

Paying hush money to an “alleged” mistress is not a criminal offense. At worst from what little I’ve seen, Trump is guilty of nothing more than a non-prosecutable misdemeanor.

trump isn't being prosecuted for paying hush money...

He's indicted for the misreporting and illegal scheme he was engaged in

He wasn't involved in a scheme?
Then why did he run the payment through trump org?
He could have simply paid it out of pocket if it wasn't a conspiracy

Why would he force AMI to make false business records?
Why did he misreport the payments to tax authorities?

His lawyer Joe Taco head said no deduction was taken for the legal payments
Why if it was a legitimate business expense?

You only don't take the deduction if you're attempting to hide an illegal payment

How many people here need to tell you before you understand that payoffs aren't illegal?
I don't believe in precedent.
Precedent exists whether you believe in it or not. And with all due respect Kalim, nobody cares what you think about precedents. You don't think it's odd this is the first time ever that this has happened?

I outlined for you exactly why they charge people with this and why it's bullshit when they do that too.

I told you I'd withhold judgement til the charges came out. You agree that the whole case is weak but you're arguing the semantics of why. You're playing into the hands of the people who thought this was a good idea.
