I have an affair or allege an affair with Donald Trump. I contact Donald Trump or his representative and say if you don't pay me X I will go to the press or the authorities.
This is extortion: I walk around Trump Towers and then remark to Donald Trump that this is a nice building and it would be a shame if it caught fire. But I happen to know that for a small fee, associates of mine can make sure that never happens.
Did Stephanie Cliffords go to Michael Cohen demanding payment? No.
Did her agent? Absolutely.
That feels like an above board legal settlement to stfu.
Because Cliffords has the same deniability as Trump does.
She can claim her agent acted on his own and Trump can say his lawyer acted on his own.
A payment was made but based on any evidence I can find it was perfectly legal.
As for the amount nobody but me knew who Stormy Daniels was in 2016. She was a stripper and a porn star, 130k is plenty.
It's my understanding and feel free to prove me wrong, that her first allegation was made in 2011.
An NDA has to be signed by both parties. That's why she isn't catching heat for that.

I think there's proof. It was done in several ways, but it focused on major dem-controlled cities in 5 battleground states.
They all followed the exact same pattern - Trump was leading bigly on election night, then something happened in all 5 where they "stopped counting". Then every one of them had a massive spike for Biden overnight (batches in the 90th percentile for Biden) that gave him a slight lead that was maintained throughout.
Impossible numbers, batches that matched perfectly...it's called "drop and roll".
