The dates of all those supposedly "falsified" - lol - business records in their charges (between February 2017 and October 2017) are after Trump officially gave up control and his positions in all of the the Trump organizations after being elected to Eric Trump and Trump Jr. I am trying to remember but I don't think those idiots even called those 2 in front of that actual grand jury.
Doesn't matter. Trump is a businessman and his people do the transactional work. He's not a bookkeeper nor an accountant. He's got professionals who do the grunt work. His tax attorneys and CPAs have standards they are personally accountable for. That's why you hire them, to CYA. If they didn't uphold their end of the bargain, it's not Trump's fault.
