We don't know
I asked you not to lie to me. I guess that was too much to ask.
We don't know
Here try this:I asked you not to lie to me. I guess that was too much to ask.
How is answering a hypothetical question the way you don't like a lie? Come on man. You use that word way too loosely.I asked you not to lie to me. I guess that was too much to ask.
I think maybe you aren't actually understanding what I'm saying.
I hear you but his position hints at the validity of the potential warrant.
I absolutely agree that this is a grey area and that DeSantis would be leaning on the thinnest of technicalities here...
...for valid warrants.
Word play, I get it. But that's the angle.
What is valid?
OK Bill Clinton.
I don't know the definition of a valid warrant other than it contains all the criminal violations with statute, the warrant is for the correct person, what the judge requires of the person named, signed by a judge with authority in that jurisdiction and properly filed with the clerk of the court.
Hammer meet nail...that's exactly the kind of technicality that I was referring to.
That's not an exception. But it does have to be a "valid" warrant. I could absolutely see that as something that two people might interpret differently.
Is that thin? LOL, hell yes it is...
I think so Brain but where are we going to get chaps at this time of night?Does any of this register....like at all?

You're right, it is silly that you offered up a hypothetical. Waste of everyone's time.Because I believe you know differently. IMO, you're not telling the truth. You know damn well that Bragg wouldn't be indicting Obama over this.
Silly debate, not worth having because your denial is that absurd. So I'm done with it. Offer you final denial and that'll be that.
Yes, when I replied. I replied only reading my response. I didn't know that you had a full conversation with evil.Kalim....ahem
Does this clear any of it up for you?
Grey area, word play, technicality and thin...what do you think I was trying to say with these words?
Does any of this register....like at all?
You're right, it is silly that you offered up a hypothetical. Waste of everyone's time.
Weaponized justice system because Trump was charged?
At the same time, it doesn’t change my outlook on you lacking the fair law and order mindset.
I'm not implying that at all. I'm saying that it's a bad look for someone in your position. That is literally what the Rs use to attempt to say the justice system is weaponized (people personal opinions).Because cops aren't allowed to ponder things that the rest of you are allowed to ponder. I get it.
GFY kalim. My 1st amendment reads the same as yours. There's nothing about my statements that imply I'm somehow incapable of doing my job simply because I posted hypothetical or because I challenged convention.
And that's what you're implying. Dick move imo. Ever noticed how I've never attacked your profession? I never got involved in those trolls? It's because I think it's beneath me.
It's clearly not beneath you. So again, GFY.
I'm not implying that at all. I'm saying that it's a bad look for someone in your position. That is literally what the Rs use to attempt to say the justice system is weaponized (people personal opinions).
I don'tknow you personally to say what you will or won't. I don't assume. I told you before that I don't attack people professions.
You are just overreacting and/or misinterpreting me.
You always take a different 1st American opinion when it comes to democrat related crimes and republican related crimes. I would think you would believe a crime is a crime.
Kind of like the gender thing with me. Don't care what democrats say. There are 2 genders. I'm a man of science. Like I thought you were a man of law and order, party be damned. Guess I misinterpreted you.
Yeah, it's all love over here.Oh, in that case...GFY. 😂
Seriously, it's really not worth talking to you sometimes...meaning most times.
Yeah, it's all love over here.
I’m not going anywhere.Just move on.
Trump is the most investigated politician in the history of the country. I’d be shocked if they have some totally new charge out of whole cloth.Weaponized justice system because Trump was charged?
You haven't seen any evidence, you don't know what the charges are, you don't know anything other than Bragg is a Democrat and Trump is a Republican. That makes you connect this to a weaponized judicial system? 😔
It's more like you guys politicizing it. Trying to use politics to make Democrat ADs scared to prosecute Republicans for fear of looking politicized.
That’s all gonna hit in the next couple months, sit tightTo be honest, I would have preferred Trump be indicted over the crap he pulled between November 2020 and January 6th 2021, instead of the comparatively minor Stormy Daniels-related stuff.
For me, this is like Al Capone being charged with tax evasion.

I checked out early yesterday and watched Netflix with the wife. Looks like I missed a hellstorm last night. Trump probably will go to NY of his own accord. But jurisdiction is a different animal than being apprehended in the same state. What happens if the state of Florida refuses to recognize an extradition order and it becomes Secret Service vs bounty hunters/NY cops?DeSantis can't refuse extradition.
You can't not go to court because you think the charges are bullshit.
If you ever said "Don't resist arrest, go to the station and deal with the charges," kindly STFU.
I’m not going anywhere.
Arresting Trump is the absolute best thing that could happen to the MAGA movement. We know there’s no case there, it’ll wake a ton more people up.
What happens if the state of Florida refuses to recognize an extradition order and it becomes Secret Service vs bounty hunters/NY cops?
To your point, I was the guy who preferred DeSantis but would have reluctantly voted for Trump if necessary.
Now I see this BS and I'm much more excited at the prospect. I still see Trump as a narcissist and as a guy who is inefficient with his earned political capital, but I also see a bull in a China cabinet and the left needs a freaking wake up call.
You don't get to criminally target your political opponents in this country and doing so can easily make people like me full throated supporters.
The only person in the state of Florida who has the authority to refuse extradition is the Governor. He is bound by the interstate extradition act, which based on current case law says he has a duty to act with 4 exceptions assuming the named individual is not already serving sentence in the asylum state. Failure to act subjects the Governor of the state to the jurisdiction of the federal court.Keep reading.
I'd tell you but kalim says I'm not allowed. Perhaps Evil could because I don't think that he is as constrained by kalim's clutched pearls. 😂
I actually like you Bama. Of all if the right wing people on here, you are my favorite. Fatman is 2nd but Evil is about to pass him haha.Clearly. 😂
But it would make you more comfortable if I thought and said the things that you approve of. LOL
Looks like the ship is taking on water already. It's kind of what I expected, the Daniels thing evaporated so they conjured up some new BS charges.Keep reading.

Which could tie this up into eternity all the way to the SCOTUS?The only person in the state of Florida who has the authority to refuse extradition is the Governor. Actually the DOJ said that there was a case but they don't indict a sitting president. Just read the report from the Cohen investigation. That was Bill Barr DOJ. Biden DOJ decided not to pursue it and passed it on to the state of NY.Trump is the most investigated politician in the history of the country. I’d be shocked if they have some totally new charge out of whole cloth.
If it’s the Stormy Daniels issue, yes we have seen the evidence and there is no case there.
And the justice system has been asymmetrical for some time, but when you start throwing bogus charges at political opponents to keep them from running it then becomes weaponized.
You think you want to live in North Korea, until you don’t.
No. Not to Trumps benefit. NY cops can't come to Florida and get Trump. Federally sanctioned bail enforcement agents can. A lower court would have to stay the extradition order and since the order originates in the state of New York I will win the gold in female gymnastics before that happens.Which could tie this up into eternity all the way to the SCOTUS?
The secret service would comply. Zero chance they would do otherwise. They would bring Trump in themselves.I checked out early yesterday and watched Netflix with the wife. I already predicted that chess move. And would zoom to appeal immediately........ Being a former President it could be moved along the docket mach schnell. It would be interesting.No. Not to Trumps benefit. NY cops can't come to Florida and get Trump. Federally sanctioned bail enforcement agents can.
