100% agree. This would get the MAGA people going but it would lose the Republicans the white house. Independents are done with the MAGA movement. Plenty of polling shows that. You can't win the presidency with only your party.

The DOJ knew there was no case and its why they didnt forward that to Congress for impeachment. They just had Cohen plead to that nonsense under threat of more prison time if he didnt on the other charges to attack Trump in the media.

I hope you understand why i questioned if you truly believe in law and order; instead of saying well there is evidence of a crime based on the grand jury indictment. In my opinion, a person that believes in law and order, wouldn't be against anyone being charged, if there is clear evidence of a crime. You automatically went to thinking Bragg is politically motivated instead of just doing his job, because of his political affiliation.
If Bama can separate his politics and perform his job respectfully than why can't Bragg?

I need to say this but it was reported BEFORE Trump announced that he would announce early because he knew that he would get charged on something eventually, so he wanted to declare as a candidate then make it out to be politically motivated. You do see how his plan to play his supporters is working?
I agree with you and said that immediately. I'm nor sure why anyone would just assume it's politically motivated immediately. Something you said as well.
The funny thing is, I posted here months ago that Trump would be arrested. Even detailed why it had to happen. Others did here as well. Hell even Trump explained why it would happen.

Some US Marshall's jobs suck (court security for example) but I cannot think of a more highly sought after job than the US Marshall's Fugitive Task Force. You have to trudge through the suck to get there however.
I think the Secret Service Protection Detail would be very cool for a while but it would eventually wear thin. Also you have to trudge through the suck to get there too.
Kicking in doors to go after truly evil people would be tough to beat. Were I a younger man....

They had to arrest Trump, because if they don't, then they will be arrested themselves when he takes office. This is about survival, the difference is, Trump has the evidence, they are manufacturing evidence against him.
Anyone who is in favor of what is happening now, is not an American. They are saying they don't care if a guy they don't like gets indicted and arrested without cause. They are saying the fact that they don't like him is cause enough.

How will actual independents react? That's where this thing will be determined.
