“House Democrats released Donald Trump’s tax returns to the public on Friday, four days before they lose their majority, and in the process did more harm to their reputation than to the former President’s.”

“The actual point of the release is to embarrass Mr. Trump for refusing to release his returns. We criticized him for this, but it isn’t a legal requirement. Democrats needed a legislative purpose to pry private records from the IRS, and the best excuse they could manage was a desire to strengthen the agency’s presidential-audit policy. The weakness of that rationale was laid bare at the Dec. 20 meeting when Ways and Means approved the release.”

They will only use this on republicans that they want to keep in line. Hilarious how everyone is 'whoa they really set the precedent now!'

Give me a commercial break.

The uniparty will use this as another tool to punish anyone that breaks with ranks and tries to put America First.

Meh. The democracy will survive.

If only he hadn’t lied when he promised to release them himself.

Still waiting on that big gas price increase. You’ve got till the end of the day, oh wise one.
What happens then, son? You gonna come try to take my birthday away? I am going to say this to you ONE MORE TIME....If Capt Ron tells you it is Christmas...go hang your stockings. My timing was a LITTLE off...but it is coming. The strategic reserve tragedy is keeping prices down a bit longer...along with a faltering economy, so it threw time off a bit. You DO realize we had the WORST year for the stock market since Hussein ruined our economy? ALWAYS a dim wit that either ruins our economy, or embarrasses us militarily.

Ahhhhh so the deflections have already started from the dorks who were completely wrong (again) about Trump.

Oh well, keeps us from having an 'echo chamber', I guess.

Any day now……..

I can just feel it…….

So you’ve gone from “by the end of the year” to ”some time in the future gas prices will go up. Way to step out there, Trumper. Oh, and thanks for recognizi Biden’s temporary release of the SPR has paid off. He appreciates your support.

You talking about your boyfriend AGAIN?? This is a family site, son......

PAID OFF?

Why? It contributed to helping alleviate a temporary supply disruption and will be refilled with lower cost oil.

A brilliant move IMO. We'll done Joe.

Remember who you are dealing with. They are BRAIN DEAD. It was filled with $2.49 oil, and will need to be refilled with $4 dollars...only to help the little commie POS's get elected, because THEIR voters are SO uninformed, and basically stupid.
Trump bought the bottom, filled it, Hiden then emptied it and refilled when the price had doubled.

This is why you let a businessman handle economic matters, and not a guy that failed 3rd grade.

Isn’t it interesting how the libs on here try to change the subject

Depleting the Strategic Reserve just for the hell of it and to distract your citizens from your STUPID INDEFENSIBLE moves to shut down production in this country should border on criminality. So then you ask the Saudis to up it - they laugh and say no so you turn to Venezuela who is run by hard core socialists and who will produce oil with far fewer environmental safeguards than our producers here...
Biden and his handlers are criminally inept and have no business running this country.
The SPR should never have been touched and its drawdown weakens the USA.

You would think that a "self professed accounting genius" would understand the concept of LIFO, but alas, sadly not.

Ive only had three hours sleep but I believe your assertion that the oil for the refill will be lower cost is in error, and a source for your price would go a long way to correct me.
Be glad to. It's Biden himself. We sold at 100. Current prices are in the 70s

Wild guess: We will now hear that Hiden is smart cause he refilled the SPR at a price that fell since he depleted it.

Which of course, is meaningless. You look at the price it costs him to refill versus the cost for TRUMP to fill. Trump filled it when it was at the bottom, Hiden then depleted it, now he will refill at a higher cost.

Economics 101. Trump was smart, Hiden was dumb.

This is like when the dems here brag about obama having a good GDP one quarter....they ignore the negative GDP before that.

Oh, now I see why you are so confused

1. Not for the hell of it. To lessen the impact of the Russia oil boycott.
2. What did Biden do to shut down production? It's up 1.5 million bad since he took over and near record high.
3. The drawdown was temporarily and to address the Russia boycott, which is exactly the sort of thing it is intended for. It will be refilled starting in February. Our security is not at risk.

You people make me laugh. If he did nothing you would complain. He does something to help and you complain

I guess some people just like to complain. Don't sweat it. Everything will turn out OK.

On the oil part of energy policy, Trump was spot on.
Biden cratered the futures market when he announced his executive orders.

His botched withdrawal from Afghanistan only emboldened Putin to move in to Ukraine.

I actually agree with green energy and diversifying energy sources. But NOT at the exclusion of US based energy independence.

With all of that said, gas is at $2.92 gallon here in West Michigan. Oil is at $80 barrel even out to May 23 delivery. Not great but not bad.

Gas went down over the Christmas travel season to about $2.92 a gallon here in NoFla but it’s already jumped back up to $3.20.

Facts? LOL.
Yeah, we’ll I provided facts (production is increasing, we are replacing the SPR at Lowe cost beginning in Feb, etc) while you provided nothing but cheap insults, which is pretty much the standard in here when you have nothing to back up an argument.

Well done.

I usually don’t argue with you and you KNOW I don’t- but drawing down the SPR to create a temporary illusion of relief is just ridiculous. Especially when you (Joey Applesauce) created the problem to begin with.

It’s like a person who is running short in their checking account because they are bad at budgeting, and cashing in an advance they take from their 401 and not acknowledging to themselves they ain’t really fixing the situation long term.
He’s an idiot and isn’t worthy of being defended.
