Trump said: “If I am victorious on November 3rd, I plan to forgive these taxes and make permanent cuts to the payroll tax.”
Trump added that he might even “terminate” the tax or make permanent changes. A group of supporters joined the president at his press conference announcing the news and cheered as the president signed the orders.
“Biden probably won’t be doing that. You’ll have to ask him. I don’t think he knows what he’s doing,” he said, as his supporters chuckled.
The president also said he would provide a federal unemployment enhancement of $400 per week, but that states would pay for 25 percent of the cost. He also signed an extension of the moratorium on evictions and deferred student loan payments.
So, are the Dems going to sue Trump for this EO? How remarkably funny and devastating would that be?

Media will start spinning how this is BAD news that will HURT Americans.
Did you hear Rush say yesterday that H&R Block is starting to warn clients that they may have to pay taxes on their stimulus checks next year? If so, media will spin that's Trump's fault.
"Expecting another big stimulus check after Trump's Executive Order? Read the fine print, you may have to pay it back in taxes."
If true, that would have been the case whether or not the dems played a hand in getting the money out. But since Trump did an end-around them, media will spin that Trump is stealing the check back.

There's 2-3 items that both sides agree must be included.
Dems then try to add 10-15 new items to give money to their pet projects which are a complete waste of money.
Republicans are then stuck either passing the spending, and all the dem pork,. or kicking it back, and dems run to microphones and claim republicans stopped Americans from getting help with the 2-3 items that both sides agreed must be included.
Trump wasn't falling for it this time, and just did the 2-3 items via EO, and told the dems to go take a walk on the rest.

Not a fan of EOs that bend the law but dems had this coming with zer0 and his phone/pen. Pubs had to sue him left and right. What would dems do if they sue and win? Require the people to pay back the check. Well that would go over like a turd in the swimming pool.
