KY @ UF

I mean im not calling him scourgie robinson right now, the things i'd like to see are more character issues of personality on the court rather than talent problems. He just looks unsure of himself way more than most senior guards ever do, do you think Wilbekin looked much different when he was a senior than Kasey?

Yep. Everybody sees that. Except for one person.

The reason he starts, the reason he is in the game more minutes than Chiozza, is because of his very high ceiling. Which he does show in some games. Happily this year he has been better more often than the previous three.

He is an excellent on ball defender, he is very good at steals. He has an explosive first step.

Yet, bless his little heart he often cannot hit a free throw at the end of games. He is still prone to ugly, ugly turnovers. Far too often he wants to play hero ball. Which he sometimes can do so successful. But more often than not goes out of control.

Blab, blab, blab, yap, yap, yap.

PG/HC BillyD recruited and coached up PG Kasey Hill as his starter.
PG/HC Mike White continues to coach up PG Kasey Hill as his starter.
Know-it-all MJ grocery-bag-boy would bench crappy no talent Hill.

I think I'll just stick with the knowledgeable B-Ball opinions of those first 2....

I agree that Hill struggles with confidence. You see it every time he misses a free throw. I thought Wilbekin was the complete opposite. He thought he was the best player on the floor from sophomore year on, but his game didn't catch up until late junior year. I also agree with MJ that he plays out of control too often. But where we disagree, I think, is that I think he's a net positive, and his game is what it is, and right now his game is fitting in with what the Gators want to do, and the Gators are playing good ball, and so what's the point in continuing to bang on the kid?

Not to mention that Hill has already helped get us to a Final 4! He's ranked in the SEC top 10 for assists three times (he's currently 2nd), top 5 twice. He was second in the SEC in steals last year and third this year. He's in the top 20 SEC all time for minutes played. He was sixth in the SEC in Defensive Rating his freshman year and seventh this year (third in Defensive Win Shares in the SEC). He does lead the SEC in turnovers.

"He does lead the SEC in turnovers." -- and that's all that some will talk about..

UF sucks.
Mc can't recruit.
Nuss doesn't know offense.
Trask was only a backup QB in HS
Foley's never had a good coaching hire.
No sport except football at UF matters to anybody.
In their 2nd seasons, the new Gator coaches should already have a NC!
Now please, run to the top of that ramp and dive off head first into the parking lot...

Fat Drooley - 'Gator fans can suffer winning, more than any other fans.'

White wants his guards to push the ball. They are going to have more turnovers because of it. Some of them are mind numbing, but the pace is the key to our success.

He will also likely leave UF as second in assists - has a shot at no. 1, but we would probably have to go to final four to get enough games.
