Not sure what to think of this game but I watched a lot of KY's game against Georgia and if Georgia didn't get outrebounded so bad they would have won at KY for sure and they did take it into OT. If we don't get beat on the boards and make most of our free throws I think we can win this game. Hill will be a key also as he has a history of getting smoked by KY's guards so if he has a good game we will have a real good shot to win.

Huge spotlight game for Florida. If they can somehow pull it off, it could give them some serious momentum going into the last part of the season. Seth Greenberg on Sirus XM college sports 84 could not have been more complementary of Florida. He said he has spent the last two days with the team and that they are "very well coached." Called our defense "elite."

Yep its a big game and we have to get a signature win or the committee is going to make us pay a price when it comes to getting a good seed. A win would also put us in a position to win the SEC regular season if we can beat SC next time.

UK opened as a 2 point favorite. The line quickly moved to Florida, with the Gators favored anywhere for 1.5 points to 2.5 points.

The over/under is a sport 160.5 points. That is a lot of scoring, but not out of line with how both teams are able to score. That said, both teams have decent defenses. According to KenPom, Florida has the #7 defense in the nation and UK as the #15.

We have to minimize turnovers and keep Egbunu & Hayes out of foul trouble, plus shoot it close to the way we have the last 3 games. We got so many open shoots during this good streak because they shared the ball instead of going one on one so much. I'm excited to see what happens.

According to this site, Florida has a 52% chance of winning tonight. So basically a tossup. If I am reading KenPom right, he has it as a toss up too, if there is a 3 point advantage for the home team.

RealTimeRPI has a 1 point UK win and Massey's also predicts a 1 point UK win.

Finally, UK opened as a 2 point Vegas favorite, but the line quickly moved to Florida, favored anywhere from 1.5 points to 2.5 points

We -- played great and won the game. :)

They -- sucked and lost the game.

Sorry, but that we/they stuff always amuses me. :D

Tonight, WE (fans) ain't gonna do chit but make some crowd noise.

While THEY (team) will be working their butts off to try to get another win.
--------

UF will play all 3 PG's (Hill-Cheezy-Hester) plus SG Allen, so this game does not depend on just Hill's play. They all need to have a very good TEAM game to get the win.

There are 4 big men available and they all should all be used to control the fouls. Egbunu 6-11 - Hayes 6-9 - Rimmer 6-10 - Gak 6-11
If you need to 'swat' someone on the opposing team, then send in Rimmer or Gak... ;)

we are favored by 2
The line opened with UK being favored. It moved to Florida quickly. As of this morning, Florida was a favorite from 1.5 to 2.5. Now the line has Florida the favorites from 2.0 to 2.5

SG, that's nuckin-futs.... :D

MJ, that's nothing but where the betting money has gone so far. The bookies goal is to balance the betting at 50/50, so they adjust the odds to help facilitate the desired betting outcome. They really don't care who wins or loses, so long as they get near the 50/50 mark on the bets. In fact, the bookies don't need to know chit about either team or their chances to win.

And as for the gamblers that are putting up the money, they blow with the wind more often than not, or they bet on 'their' team, despite their talent level.

The most 'talented' team wins most often, but not every time, so I'm hoping that our Gators can get it done tonight (but I ain't betting a nickle on it). GoooooooooGATORS!

looks like they expect it to be a very high scoring game, it's the highest total on the entire board.. Looks like they expect it to reach the high 70's or 80's each...

Gators up by 8 at halftime. Dominating the boards, but way too many turnovers and got 4 guys with 2 fouls. Taking too many 3's and not getting it inside enough, but still outhustling and outplaying KY. Monk hasn't scored and expect KY to play much better the 2nd half. Hopefully, our guys can keep it up and get a huge win.

we are playing any other team that doesn't get catered this is an absolute wax job, they are getting destroyed, but yet are still in striking distance lol... The fouls have been the usual

double the foul trouble than every other game all season no matter what, as im typing another foul... LMAO no matter how bad UK is playing they are still playing home games on the road

every player is in foul trouble more than they ever will be again all season

Hill playing the best game of his live, still can't hit two FT's ever.

After a game like this I love going over to the RUPP and read their posts...Fricking hilarious to be on the other side and reading their comments...

When was the last time they got beat down that bad

they would have gotten it just as bad as our last 3 opponents without the usual bullshit foul fiesta no matter how bad they play

Gators are probably the hottest team in the country right now, I thought 3 years ago on Senior day or the SEC Tournament final in 05 would have been our biggest wins over them margin wise...

Briscoe turned and walked away and then Monk followed while the rest completed handshakes. Big deal or no?
