A team with no depth lost a lot of players to injury, it caught up to us at the end of the year. Missing 5 WR's for FSU and the same plus our top 2 QB's for the bowl game? Playing a QB who had never taken a live snap for us before the game? Vince Lombardi would have gotten whipped. I am very surprised we managed to score.

The decline started before FSU when UF played Vandy....

Every team deals with injuries. No matter how many players we had injuried excuses UF to get manhandled by Vandy in a way Ive never seen in my 39 years of life.

At one point, we were down what? 3 touchdowns? The kicker is that this wasn't even a good year for Vandy.

You guys are forgetting about the scamdemic BS. His downfall began with him wanting to fill the SWAMP after the aTm game and the Socialist-U Admin cut him off at the knees over it.... JMOHO.....

There is some level of truth in this…

Don’t forget, Megan Mullen didn’t really enjoy being in Gainesville…sadgator thinks she played the role well because she knew it was Dan’s calling…but if it was up to her, she would not have come to Gainesville.

That one article cited all her problems when Dan was OC under Urban, and the stuff she did at MSU in terms of the player kissing and acting like team mom (which worked there) didn’t really translate at Florida…

She’s also a massive conservative, and sadgator is sure that the overall culture in Gainesville isn’t exactly to her liking…

It probably didn’t help matters that she welcomed the opportunity to exit.

The weird thing about the whole Mullen thing is that he was Stricklin’s guy. It is so bizarre that they could not work it out behind the scenes. We will never really know what went down….
