This is where college football is and is going. These bowl games are worthless. The selfish players and selfish coaches couldn’t care any less. Until the fans stop going to games, stop buying tickets, nothing will change. The NIL and transfer portal has destroyed the game.

Players skipping bowl games has nothing to do with NIL or the transfer portal, the trend of bowl game skipping was increasing before either of them came to be.
As for selfishness, let's play a meaningful postseason game and see if anyone walks away before we start calling people out. The truth is, if you had a chance at millions and were asked to risk it for something completely meaningless, you'd say no as well.
Earlier in the game the play got stopped Trey Dean went up to the RB and ran his mouth. That’s all he is- mouth. He is nothing more.

I understand all of your points. They all are correct. I don’t like the state of the game and it isn’t going to change any time soon. Maybe I just need to care a great deal less and not have expectations.
I just hope this head coach doesn’t let the program collapse again by tying himself to a defensive staff. Hope the necessary changes are made

We will HAVE to get an offensive coordinator next year AND a QB coach. This is our 13th game and play calling is atrocious. I have seen high school coaches call way better games than Billy does.
It's not like Billy can't handle game clock management and matters as such without distractions of running an offense. I'm so depressed all I can do is laugh. 😂
It's picked up though with the portal players skipping bowls like the NFL guys now.

Well, losing to Kentucky and Vandy in the same year resets a lot of clocks, like the Apocalypse.
The 4th and 2 we had a tight and 5 Olineman and a wing. 7 blockers.

Someone said it before, but it's less hard to deny that the problem is less to do with the coaches laying eggs....and more to do with Stricklin.
Don't get me wrong, Napier deserves a couple more years to show something.....but this year declined, not improved.
