Biden Crime wave

Also, and I'm not trying to victim blame but rather to inform, flip flops make it very difficult to defend yourself or to even flee. Wear them to the pool or on the boat but don't wear them to get gas or go shopping.

Wearing flip flops to a place where you might be robbed is tantamount to an injured gazelle drinking at the hyenas watering hole. The rest of your behavior, including your appearance, does the same. If you're out of shape or of small stature then you're a target.
JFC, seriously?

This is the saddest indictment of where we are as a country.

A cop is on a forum telling people to be ready to fight or flee when they go to the store or get gas. Think of what it's like to be a small female.

This has to be stopped...

fatman in 2019 23,949 of the deaths you show in your chart were suicides
14,295 were homicides
It would help if you could reply to my post, just saves me the time of going back and trying to figure out which one you're referring to.

And you're 100% correct, around half - in any given time period - of gun deaths are suicides in the US.

But I didn't need that distinction and still made the point I wanted to make in my post(s) above.

The bottom line is the narrative that more guns = more gun deaths isn't supported by statistics...which reinforces that it's the shooter and not the tool that we need to be afraid of/deal with/help/fix.

Bingo. You're paying attention.

And obviously it isn't that bad everywhere but it's clearly that bad in many places. If a person hasn't noticed it where they live they are either extremely fortunate or their situational awareness sucks.

Be prepared to defend your own life. Rapid flight if possible...but if that isn't possible, having a real plan to fight like hell to survive isn't only prudent, it's your only option. Unless you have 24/7 private security, this is reality.

Karma working slowly but surely.

Alabama, starting in the second half against ole miss, has been a different team as of late.

While I hate Aggie, 26 points against that defense with a Safety playing QB is pretty impressive.

Agree on both points, we turned a corner. I'm still not sure how great we can be but we really improved in the Ole Miss game.

And I acknowledge the limitations of Milroe but he's entirely serviceable. We can win with him. Our OL has been the real issue. Even with them, they'll dominate for a play or a few plays and then stink it up the next 5.

Here's hoping Cristobal gets fired and returns to Bama to unravel the conundrum our current OL coach has weaved.
