WoW! Don't be late,,,, 2.0 (2020)

#67 OT Gerald Mincey 6-5 325 *** - Ft.Lauderdale, FL - UK-flip (247 #78 OT)
Offers: UF- UGly-UK - Az-FSU-Mia-GaT-NCSt-PSU-Pitt-UCF

Rising Sr. Mincey possesses a good amount of upside both physically and on the field. He is a road-grader in the run game who goes all out until the whistle is blown, but fairly fluid with some positional versatility as well.

Note: The 2020 class currently boasts an average player grade of 90.45. That marks the 3rd straight class above the 90 threshold after Jim McElwain's 3 classes from 2015-17 were all below the 90 mark.

247 2020 Class Rankings:
5. UG
6. UF
12. OK
25. TN

That's great nailed-head, if he keeps workin' hard (Lyin) then he might eventually get into the Top 10. ;)

I just wondered why you didn't use Rivals, since you often use them,,, if they make you/OK look better....
(I see why you avoided them this time though)

As to the star rankings by the outsiders.... (for nailed-heads and dog-pokers)

Last year, Mullen helped Franks make the largest-efficiency leap in the Power 5 of any starter (nearly 30 points in QBR!) and by season’s end, Franks was winning MVP honors at a New Year’s 6 Bowl game. Given the historical progression of second-year starting QBs under Dan Mullen, a Peach Bowl MVP could be just the beginning for Franks and the Florida offense.

It’s no secret everything starts with the line of scrimmage in the SEC and this year, the Gators will be no different. The playmakers are almost all back, save Jordan Scarlett, and Florida adds blue-chip pieces at TE and RB. If the Gators can find the right combination on the offensive line....
~ After seeing what Mullen and Hevesy did last year, I'm not to worried about the OL's development. (iG)
Hevesy’s reputation for molding all sorts of talents into starters and then potential NFL players is a strong one, and one that should probably assuage most fears that Florida is lacking in its offensive line recruiting based on number of stars rather than body count.

2020 OT Gerald Mincey 6-5 324 *** - Natl. 964 - FL 131 - Posit. 82 OT
See his Huld highlights in this article.
https://www.alligatorarmy.com/2019/...ey-commits-florida-gators-football-recruiting

2016 OT Jawaan Taylor 6-5 330 *** - Natl 941 - FL 131 - Posit. 45 OT
Wannie was a Jr early departure 2nd Rnd 2/35 NFL draft pick.
Taylor credited Hevesy's coaching for his vast 2018 improvements. o_O

According to NJCAA.org, --- #9 ILB Diwun Black has signed a NLI to attend Miss. Gulf Coast CC in Perkinston, Miss.

"I will not be attending the University of Florida, instead I will be attending community college this summer," Black's statement read. "Maybe to y'all I fail, but to me I've come a long way, I wasn't [supposed] to graduate..."

The Gator coaching staff told him to just keep grinding and that they had his back for a later return to UF.

The following is Black's player evaluation from 247Sports:
Long, rangy athlete with a frame that has morphed effectively into a linebacker body from a defensive back. Still possesses more physical growth potential. Uses length extremely effectively in pass game. Shows plus coverage instincts. Outstanding hips and fluidity in his drops and backpedal. Has high level ball skills honed from offensive background. Physical tackler that excels in space. Does not have elite straight line testing numbers but plays fast. Very limited experience as a box linebacker. Will need to demonstrate every-down physicality and ability to defeat second level blockers. Impact high-level Power Five prospect with early round NFL draft upside.

Sounds to me like a JuCo might be a big plus for the young man, on the field and in the classroom, so I'm still hoping to see him in Gator Orange & Blue someday relatively soon.

NewRanking college football coaches 1-130 for 2019 season

Sporting News ranks the FBS coaches from 1-130 before every college football season, and for the fourth consecutive year, Nick Saban is at the top.

That might stir some debates knowing Clemson coach Dabo Swinney led the Tigers to two national championships in three years - including last year's 44-16 blowout against Saban and the Crimson Tide.

No. 1: Nick Saban, Alabama
No. 2: Dabo Swinney, Clemson

Dan was a 1st year coach taking over a 4-7 cluster.
He finished the season on a 4 game win streak and a NY-6 Bowl win over #7 Mich.
Choke-la-homo's 'Riley Coyote' liar finished his season with a double-digit butt-kicking by an SEC team.

#8 playing in the SEC vs #5 playing around in what's left of the has-been Big12-10-whatever.

Somehow, I just can't find in me to be jealous of your lyin' Choker HC...

Oakdale (Conn.) St. Thomas More 4-star #30 DT Lamar Goods de-committed from Kentucky on Wednesday. The move comes days after the 6-foot-4, 290-pound prospect completed his official visit to Florida. The Gators thoroughly impressed Goods during his official visit this past weekend.
Offers: UF-UGly-UK-TN--MichSt-Rut-Syr-Va-VaT-WVa, etc

"It was amazing and I had a really good time here," Goods told Swamp247. "They kind of exceeded my expectations a bit and they answered all my questions and the program is crazy with the way they develop players is something amazing and something I really key on. The academics stand out a lot with how they take it serious and it's a key to them and they take pride in that saying they are an academic school. Good academic and good football is a good combination."

Ever since Goods' finished his Florida visit, there has been a shift on the 247Sports Crystal Ball. All of the latest predictions are in favor of the Gators for Goods now.

Yo instant ;)

Riley Coyote lands #1 player in 2021 5* QB Brock Vandergrifft shunning cousin Eddie and Kang

:cool::p:cool:

Lincoln Riley has landed a commitment from the top 2021 prospect in the country, quarterback
Brock Vandagriff. The signal caller out of Bogart (Ga.) Prince Avenue chose Oklahoma over Florida, Georgia and many others. After taking two visits to Norman, Vandagriff made his decision and he tells the story behind that.

Stay tuned :D

Hey dust-bowl choker with your head-nailed-to-da-flor, could you post a copy of his signed LOI for me? Otherwise, you're just blowin' smoke and yappin' outta yo-butt as usual.
And do let me know the next time a choker Heisman pretender wins a NC... o_O

But tell me, how many NC's have your recent Heisman pretender QB's won for you so far?
Bad-ford comes to mind,,, (UF 24 - 14 OK)
1966 Heisman Spurrier - Only Heisman winner to ever coach a Heisman winner.
1996 Heisman Wuerffel NC (HC Spurrier)
2006 - 07 Heisman Tebow - 2008 NC's
============

Moving right along....

2009 Tim Tebow Senior ---- 2,895 yds, 21 TD's, 5 Ints - Bowl MVP (4th Yr, 3 Yrs with Dan)
2018 Feleipe Franks rsSo - 2,457 yds, 24 TD's, 6 Ints - Bowl MVP (1st Yr with Dan)

When you put the TEAM and WINNING first, these are the 'down the line' result.

"The offense took a big jump forward in 2018, but Dan Mullen and company stuck with their style of sharing the wealth in terms of the skill positions and so you had multiple receivers having strong years, but not spectacular, and the same at running back." o_O

Rushing - 2,771 total yds, 213.2 yds/gm, 5.3 ypc, 23 TD's (8 lost fumbles)
~ 13 Players had a carry. - 7 had 10+ carries. - 6 ran for a TD.

Receiving - 2,776 total yds, 213.5 yds/gm, 7.63 yds/rec, 28 TD's (6 Int's)
~ 21 Players had a reception. - 8 had 10+ receptions. - 10 caught TD's.

The huge recruiting upside to this is that the Gator's depth chart won't keep you away from playing time. Work-study hard to earn your playing time,,, and you'll get some.

Total Offense - 5,547 yds, 426.7 yds/gm, 6.2 yds/play, 57 TD's (14 T-O's)

Pt's / Gm - 35
New Years 6 Peach Bowl Win over #7 Mich.
W/L - 10-3
Final Rankings 6 - t7

Dan and his staff did that with virtually the same 3-4 star players that had just gone 4-7.

Let the prima-donna's go elsewhere (UGly - Chokers) and win a recruiting trophy from those that hand out the stars.(but of course, getting a 5-star ranking from outsiders doesn't necessarily make you are a prima-donna,,, see Tebow) ;)

GoooooooooooGATORS! :D

4* Defensive tackle and Top 250 national recruit Lamar Goods commits to UF.

Now sitting with a top 10 class on every service with lots of room to add players. Good thing Mullen can't recruit or we'd be ranked #1 every single year if this is what he's doing as a shitty recruiter.

You rang?

Are you claiming 3* Dan aka Cousin Eddie is the quarterback whisperer?:rolleyes:

Update:

Lizzerds ranked # 9 ( 14 ) commits
Dustbow chokers ranked # 12 ( 12 ) commits

While Cousin Eddie has flip his second straight Kantuck recruit to get any commitments :rolleyes:

Riley Coyote raids Georgia and the south landing the #1 player in 2021 Brock Vandadergriff he also picks up 2020 commit 3* LB Edgerrin Cooper 6’2 212 #30 ranked player in Louisiana ;)

So, you're saying that since Texass beat UGly in the bowl, that you now want to flip UGly commits to the dust-bowl? --- Makes perfect Choker-sense to me...LMFAO :D:D:D

Don't need to claim QB Whisperer when the football experts all agree on it, and the on the field facts repeatedly demonstrate it. o_O

Among ALL of the Recruit Ranking Services:

UF is a consensus Top 10,,,
while dust-bowl Choke-la-homo is not a Top 10. :p

Lying Riley Coyote is already begging the choker $bagman$ to get busy for him....

PS -- What's the over/under on months before QB Rattler hits the portal?
Jus-curious. ;)

Yawn.

Zzzzzzzz

Recruiting is going great and we have a coach that can develop players and put them in the right position to succeed.

Things are certainly headed in the right direction after having gone through the Muschamp and McElwain years.

Dan's recruiting continues with a new staffer. o_O

According to Sports Illustrated, NFL Football Analyst Andy Benoit, Florida head coach Dan Mullen has brought in 29-year coaching veteran Ken Zampese for an analyst position on the Gators’ staff. It is unclear exactly what Zampese’s job specifics will be, but having this kind of experience around can only help.

Yep, and it appears that your Riley Coyote is also asleep at the wheel...

Despite his commitment to Penn State, the 6-foot-2, 210 4 Star noted that he continued to hear from programs like Miami, Texas A&M, Ohio State, and Choke-la-homo. However, it was the never say die effort that kept Florida in the mix as Wingo had long noted them as the program working hardest to pry him away from Penn State.

So hard working 'Dan the Man' beats out the 'lyin' Riley Coyote' yet again... :p

How many in 3* Dans 2020 class will be non- qualifiers or enter the portal? Will the 2020 class end up in 30’s in the final team rankings like 2019?:D

Cousin Eddies 2019 class has imploded with 3 confirmed non-qualifiers and a potential 4th non-qual ( Henderson ) possibly on the way :( this doesn’t even include the 2 top recruits who entered the transfer portal :p:D

‘Riley Coyote will end with his 3rd straight top 10 class;)

You could have 20 top 10 classes and you'll still be giving up 40 to Kansas. OU= flag football.
