I believe the number 1 target for this class is Demarkcus Bowman. Get him plus add in another top WR like Rosemy or Wideman to go along with Manuel and recruiting will move along quite quickly. Honestly I do not worry about recruiting with how Dan Mullen wins games and develops players. It's great to know that when you fill program needs and you get guys who are "we" and not "me" things will work out. Guys bought in last year with the attitude of relentless effort. It started in the weight room and it moved onto the football field.

Leonard Manuel just got a 5th start according to the composite - so yeah, he's pretty much the prototype WR.

Just my opinion, but I generally cringe when fans of a school say thing like "trust the coach". Reason being that EVERY fanbase can say "trust the coach" when you are getting beat at recruiting. But I'll say, with Mullen there seems to be some "value added" to his evaluations. He may be a guy that is an outlier in terms of recruiting stars or statistics. Time will tell but he seems to have "touch" when it comes to the overall program.

The NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah recently put out his Top 50 prospects for the 2019 NFL draft and he has 2 Florida Early Departure Jr's on it. RT Jawaan Taylor was ranked #13 and DE Jachai Polite was ranked #26.

Another Early Departure Jr, LB Vosean Joseph is projected in the 2nd round. All 3 Gator's came out of HS rated as 3 Stars... -- The 2 Gator 5 stars in the draft are leaving as graduating Sr's.

If they don't really want to be Gators, and/or if they don't feel that they can compete, then going elsewhere is not a bad thing. for them or for the Gators. JMOHO of course....

Florida’s 2020 class took another hit Friday afternoon when Clearwater (Fl.) Superior Collegiate Academy running back Keyvone Lee backed off his commitment. Top 100 player

Ranked a four-star prospect by 247Sports, Lee announced his de-commitment on his Twitter account, thanking the University of Florida in the process and emphasizing the Gators are still in contention to land his signature come Signing Day.

The hunchback also lost a 4* 6’4 235 DE Josh Griffs out of Bradenton IMG academy early this week..cant wait for instants take on this decommit .

With this latest update, several targets of the Florida Gators saw their rankings change in the Top 247 Rankings.

Florida DL commit Gervon Dexter of Lake Wales (Fla.) saw a significant bump. The talented 6-foot-6, 285 pound prospect moves from No. 80 to No. 35 overall in the nation.

Lakeland (Fla.) RB Demarkcus Bowman ***** moved to the No. 1 player in the Sunshine State and now sits No. 21 overall, after previously being ranked No. 63. Florida (lean), Clemson, and Georgia are all battling for Bowman at this time.
(RB Lee **** de-committed but still has UF in his Top 5)

Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin QB Carson Beck **** moved to No. 109 overall from outside the Top247 previously. Beck, a former Alabama commit, is very high on the Florida Gators currently.
