I would just hate to live in fear. I understand if you live in a bad area and feel you need a weapon to protect yourself but it must be a miserable existence.Let them eat cake, eh Theo?
Recall what happened to the individual that spoke those words?
Why a bad area? Remember Sharon Tate?I would just hate to live in fear. I understand if you live in a bad area and feel you need a weapon to protect yourself but it must be a miserable existence.
I remember that time 55 years ago.Why a bad area? Remember Sharon Tate?
Maybe in your younger days,,,maybe.....jimIf you like, I can look after y’all‘s wives for you
It's far from perfect. So you're good with the current system?
So we just ignore it and hope everything is handled fairly? It's far from perfect.
But putting the feds in charge of running elections because you don't like how states are handling it is like changing your shirt because you shit your pants.

If you'd pop down from that ivory tower you stay in you'd see that not everyone lives like you do. It's not fear it's reality. You might not ever need a gun where you live, I've had to draw mine three times this year and that's not a record.I would just hate to live in fear. I understand if you live in a bad area and feel you need a weapon to protect yourself but it must be a miserable existence.
US sees about 1MM home invasions per year, about half of the time someone is home.I remember that time 55 years ago.
Hey, if you're scared someone might invade your home and harm your family, by all means, get some protection.
But really, it's very unlikely it will ever happen so relax a little.
Theo is a fan of Roman Polanski. Why a bad area? Remember Sharon Tate?
Our cars screech at us if we don't.US sees about 1MM home invasions per year, about half of the time someone is home.
Last year 42k people were killed in automobile accidents.
Do you wear a seatbelt?
Are you a bank robber or something? If you'd pop down from that ivory tower you stay in you'd see that not everyone lives like you do. It's not fear it's reality. You might not ever need a gun where you live, I've had to draw mine three times this year and that's not a record.
Polanski sold his island to Epstein.Theo is a fan of Roman Polanski.
ZERO frightened...becauseYou seem really frightened that someone is going to break into your house and go after your family. Maybe you should consider moving to a better neighborhood.
Could you expand on those circumstances a bit?If you'd pop down from that ivory tower you stay in you'd see that not everyone lives like you do. It's not fear it's reality. You might not ever need a gun where you live, I've had to draw mine three times this year and that's not a record.
yes, im a bank robber. /sarcAre you a bank robber or something?
You never need one until you need one. Have you not watched all the home invasions that are happening? And I HAVE drawn a gun on someone breaking in my house...when I was 14 yrs old. Yes...I had a loaded gun as a 14 yr old that my Dad allowed me to keep by my bed. I NEVER go ANYWHERE (other in my boat) that I do not have a loaded gun in my pocket. There are bad people ut there...and they usually have weapons, and will kill at the drop of a hat. NO CHANCE I will sit there and be a victim(or my loved ones) because I was too stupid to be prepared. If nothing ever happens like that....GREAT. But if it does...I have a chance..a MUCH better chance to WIN the confrontation, and protect myself..and my loved ones.Could you expand on those circumstances a bit?
I am not against personal gun ownership (other than automatic weapons), but I guess I am more like Theo in personal experience. In my roughly 40 years of adulthood I have never owned a gun or ever been in a situation where I really thought I needed one. And I haven't lived a sheltered life....have lived in Florida, 10 years in Los Angeles and now Tennessee and traveled quite a lot. Been to hundreds of sporting events, hundreds of bars, many times to Vegas, Reno, Tahoe, NYC, New Orleans, etc and have done my share of drinking and carousing. However, I do try to avoid trouble. But I am curios as to the circumstance that would require somebody to have the need to draw a weapon so often. Is it in the line of duty?
It is reality. And it is a shame. But as a MAN, it is our duty and responsibility to protect our loved ones. I can accomplish this much better with a firearm in my early 60’s than I can without one. I have ONE rule I have gone by my entire life concerning confrontation…. WIN.I would just hate to live in fear. I understand if you live in a bad area and feel you need a weapon to protect yourself but it must be a miserable existence.
And they were notified a month before they were removed (Letter sent to the address on the registration) and were also told if they thought it was wrong, they could re-register , even on election day and still vote. The total number this cycle was close to 7,000. That's enough to swing a state.
The 1,600 were the self-identified non-citizens the DOJ challenged.
Because it makes total sense to leave people who tell you they aren't citizens on the voter rolls.
They had been doing it for months. Part of the process is they sent out letters informing the people they were to be removed. It wasn't just snap my fingers, your gone. And technically speaking, it's against Federal law for a non-citizen to register to vote, so they didn't actually purge "voters", they removed names of people who were not legally able to vote. They removed dead people too.I'm not an expert on federal election law. My understanding is that there is a federal law that says you can't 'systematically' purge voter rolls within some time frame.
If your job is purging your state's voter rolls, you should know the applicable federal laws because you have to follow them.
Important notes: I am not saying we should allow illegals to vote. SCOTUS ruled intelligently.
I’m all for purging invalid voters from the rolls. It’s the right thing to do. They just need to know how to go about it.They had been doing it for months. Yep.And they were notified a month before they were removed (Letter sent to the address on the registration) and were also told if they thought it was wrong, they could re-register , even on election day and still vote.
They do know how to go about it.I’m all for purging invalid voters from the rolls. It’s the right thing to do. They just need to know how to go about it.
Your incredibly naïve commentary leads me to believe that you did indeed just fall off the turnip truck ...I’m all for purging invalid voters from the rolls. It’s the right thing to do. They just need to know how to go about it.
So, the story that there was a federal law prohibiting 'systematic' purges of the voter rolls this late in the process was incorrect? They do know how to go about it.
They did it the same way they've always done it (at least since the law was passed in 2006).
I love how confident you are even when you don't understand what you're talking about. It's a special skill.
SCOTUS sure thought so.So, the story that there was a federal law prohibiting 'systematic' purges of the voter rolls this late in the process was incorrect?
