This is not a joke- democrats are desperate

You think the Feds can do it better? I got a floating dock to sell you. Cheap.
You mean like FEMA?

Why a bad area? Remember Sharon Tate?
I remember that time 55 years ago.

Hey, if you're scared someone might invade your home and harm your family, by all means, get some protection.

But really, it's very unlikely it will ever happen so relax a little.

It's far from perfect.

But putting the feds in charge of running elections because you don't like how states are handling it is like changing your shirt because you shit your pants.
So we just ignore it and hope everything is handled fairly?

I would just hate to live in fear. I understand if you live in a bad area and feel you need a weapon to protect yourself but it must be a miserable existence.
If you'd pop down from that ivory tower you stay in you'd see that not everyone lives like you do. It's not fear it's reality. You might not ever need a gun where you live, I've had to draw mine three times this year and that's not a record.

US sees about 1MM home invasions per year, about half of the time someone is home.

Last year 42k people were killed in automobile accidents.

Do you wear a seatbelt?

You seem really frightened that someone is going to break into your house and go after your family. Maybe you should consider moving to a better neighborhood.
ZERO frightened...because

1. I am prepared
2. I have a Rotweiller that in terms would be an NFL defensive end sized dog that would eat alive anyone trying to get in my house uninvited
3. I am 6'4 265 lbs and been in more fights than most 10 people alive
4 I am not scared of guns.

Could you expand on those circumstances a bit?

I am not against personal gun ownership (other than automatic weapons), but I guess I am more like Theo in personal experience. In my roughly 40 years of adulthood I have never owned a gun or ever been in a situation where I really thought I needed one. And I haven't lived a sheltered life....have lived in Florida, 10 years in Los Angeles and now Tennessee and traveled quite a lot. Been to hundreds of sporting events, hundreds of bars, many times to Vegas, Reno, Tahoe, NYC, New Orleans, etc and have done my share of drinking and carousing. However, I do try to avoid trouble. But I am curios as to the circumstance that would require somebody to have the need to draw a weapon so often. Is it in the line of duty?
