I'm not a political expert but I've observed it for 50 or so years and I cannot fathom republicans in swing states, where they would have significant impact, sitting on their hands while democrats cheat. And none of those republicans have broken ranks and spilled the beans? Very hard to believe.

No, you have some that break ranks. Youngkin in VA has been really solid on the issue - he mandated paper ballots (no Dominion machines) and had to go all the way to SCOTUS to clean our voter rolls.
