I have a VERY good friend who owned Adventure Marine in FWB (and Destin sunrise Marine) who told me the same thing. Problem is I just can never own one from VERY long-standing deep beliefs. Are you sure that was not Sunrise Marine? Sunrise owns the Cape Horn franchise now...maybe John had it back in 96 at Adventure. Was your chrysler an outboard or car? The outboards were pure TRASH. Of course, back in the day, so were the cars. Funny story...the guy that owned Adventure Marine(my very good friend) used to sit in my seat here where I work as the sales manager back in the early 70's. We have become very good friends over the years.

This does not bother me. People did business back then WAY differently than now. My friend is a self made multi millionaire. Sold both businesses for about 40 million combined. He did OK! LOL I have been in the car business since 1985. I deplore people doing business like that. t it happened WAY more back then than it does now...but it never should happen.
