Ron DeSantis stands no chance against a political barbarian like Donald Trump...

You didn’t answer the question, but I am not at all surprised.

Unlike the cocktail club Reps I realize how crooked big business is and how human nature comes into play with their decisions. Big business and their crooked bought politicians are the most dangerous forces out there when it comes to the average Joe on the street. You can thank them for a large % of the money in this country being concentrated to the top few % while real inflation adjusted income (even using those joke govt inflation numbers that underestimate it) has fallen a lot.

Cocktail Club Reps love to preach the no-holds barred free trade policy so they can line their pockets at the workers expense. The best times for workers and pay in the US was when we had effective tariffs and trade policies in place.

OK Karl...

Workers of the world unite!

The facts don't lie. Go look at the numbers. It was crazy how much the top 1% and crooked big business financial situation went up after NAFTA. Ross Perot was definitely telling the truth about the stuff while the average low info Rep voter believed Bush and the uni-party crooks that it was going to be so great for ordinary Americans.

Answer this question:

Is it cheaper to operate a company in Mexico or America.

You know the answer to that - cheap labor is the biggest reason.
Actually it's not.

The three major Japanese automakers all have factories in America.

That's because after years of tariffs and import duties and trade imbalances we finally gave them concessions and tax breaks.

You can use illegal aliens as your work force here.

But if the city county and state are bleeding you dry with taxes and burdening you with regulations, you move to another state, or Mexico. I'll throw you a bone with the appeal of the almost non existent environmental regulations.

You are telling me labor costs arent the biggest reason costs are cheaper in Mexico to produce?

There are two ways to keep American companies in America. One is making it two expensive to leave by imposing tariffs and duties and taxes.

The other is easing restrictions and making it easier to stay.

Payroll is not the end all of any company that's why layoffs and downsizing is the first cost cutting measure of a company.

Where was the most money being saved on production costs by these companies after NAFTA was passed and they increased their manufacturing in Mexico?

You understand that completely free trade between a first world and a third world country is impossible?

Perot is a businessman. He wasn't complaining about the trade agreement, he was complaining about the deal.

And Unions. Unions were a good idea that went bad.

My first day on the job at Local 199 I made 480 dollars after taxes.

I sat on a bucket listening to my mp3 player and looking for fires for 8 hours. And I fetched some tools.

Yep he was complaining because like most of these deals and the one Trump told them to use for toilet paper when he took office (that Pacific trade deal) it enriches the global elites at the expense of the working Joes.

And I don't think the most hard left person in here would argue that deal was bad for America.

Are you old enough to know why there's only one American made television company?

There are things that come into play with a lot of these deals and its crooked deals that hastened a lot of it. When Trump redid things on NAFTA and other deals with other foreign countries he was literally laughing at how lopsided some of it was and seemed to not have too hard of a time forcing concessions from those countries. If those deals were close to neutral they wouldn't have gave in that easily. Some of it was a simple as telling Japan etc. you are going to import so much of this or we will rip the deal up because most of those countries protected things in their country more than the US did.

Japan, despite tariffs and import duties, flooded the market with cheap televisions til RCA was left.

When the American companies went under they raised the prices back up. Unfortunately they weren't just cheap they were also in constant development. And American demand for Japanese electronics neutered any strong arm deals. They almost got us again with cars.

I remember in business classes when I was young all they talked about was Japan taking over eveything and how the US was in big trouble and then you slowly never heard anymore about it. They were kicking our butts on cars by a longshot for quite a few years there. I think Demographics has a lot to do with Japan's situation lingering along all these years. I believe their major stock index is no higher than it was over 30 years ago but I think our markets are way over inflated compared to historical pricings also.

Was dumb on Trump's part but there is no bigger sheep than you on these boards. The bigger question is will Elon give you your Rivals Swamp blue check mark back for free? This goat has a tip for you. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

Is @Mdfgator still too poor to afford his Gold Membership?

Or did Rivals institute a one Gold Membership per household rule, and @BSC911 drew short straw?
