She was also the CIA's station chief in London in 2016.

Which means one of two things:

1 - She was neck-deep in the George Papadoupalous/Mifsud/Downer scandal
2 - She knows who was

I'm guessing Pres Trump knew which it was before he nominated her.

After he has appointed so many people hostile to his 2016 campaign positions.

Personnel is policy.
He could have put good people in. He put too many Kirstent Gilibrand types in.

Two possibilities:

1 - This was simply a blunder of a hire by Trump

2 - Trump thought Haspel would try to cover tracks for Brennan, and he wanted to collect evidence of her doing so.


So either the Deep State hoodwinked Trump, or Trump hoodwinked them.

History tells me which way this likely goes...
