In before the gun confiscation NUTS.....

Some people need a truck.

If you find a guy who mocks other guys for driving a Prius or whatever, they're probably driving a truck with no actual need for a truck. Watch for it, you'll see it.
The REAL part of this is....this same guy that drives the Prius is the EXACT same guy afraid of firearms, and refuses tro get one to protect his family and loved ones. AND...they are Brandon supporters

If you're 'bearing arms', your right to 'bear arms' has not been infringed.

If you have a right to eat cake and you're eating cake, your right to eat cake has not been infringed.
OK, I'll bite. If I'm eating cake but I can only have two pieces, that's infringement.

The caveat being I paid for the cake so I can eat as many pieces as I pay for.

Right, the people who need guns to protect themselves are the manly ones. 😂
I don't have a gun or a truck. The difference between you and I is I'm not terrified of either. I understand both are simply inanimate objects that can't hurt me. You don't seem to get that.

I honestly think you may need to go to therapy. I think there's some unresolved trauma in your past involving someone with a gun and/or a truck, and you need to work with an expert to get past the hurt it is causing you. There's no shame in getting help for your condition.

Theo also believes Alec Baldwin and he can't wait for that stupid movie to be released.
I think in high school Bubba Lee got the head cheerleader that Theo loved, and Bubba drove a loud, big truck with a gun rack in the window. The head cheerleader loved Bubba Lee cause he was a 'real man', and Theo was just a nerd with a pocket protector and broken glasses that got ignored.

Every day he comes to this board and others like it trying to get even with Bubba Lee. I think that's what is happening here. Therapy is a good option.

And Bubba still gets laid more. 🤣

If the dealer ad says they will give you 'free cars' and they give you two cars, that is the end of their responsibility. They have given you free cars just like they said.

Note: I have not said there is an existing limit on guns. Ghost will probably tell you I said that but he makes a lot of stuff up.

So you expect the elderly, the disabled, those of small stature, and women to fight fairly?

That's a decidedly odd take.
I haven't said that. Did Ghost say I did? If you pay attention, he makes a lot of stuff up.

Besides, that is a good example of weak people needing guns to protect themselves. The elderly, women......and gun nuts. :)

that's not how infringement works. shall not be infringed = congress shall make no law.
On a side note, when they say 'congress', does that include the states?

Anyway, the first specifically says no law will be made. The second is different, it says you have the right to bear arms but it doesn't say anything about additional laws (as long as those laws don't override your right to bear arms).

So being weak and fearful aren't good reasons to bear arms?

I don't care to be stabbed or shot, I've never met anyone that has that enjoyed it and I imagine it's painful. Additionally, I'm an old, "fluffy" retiree. I get the feeling that you think I should learn Karate or mixed martial arts rather than take the much easier and lazier route of carrying a firearm.

You say you believe that everyone has a right to self defense. However, you seem to have some rather unreasonable qualifiers attached, no?

I will agree that some people own both guns and trucks because it makes them feel manly and powerful but surely thus bit of puffery can coexist with self defense and utility?

Being weak and fearful is a fine reason to bear arms.

I have no problem with responsible adults getting a gun for whatever need they have.

I don't understand the question.

You are correct. Some people have legit needs for guns and trucks while other people feel it makes them manly.

Theo this is wrong, and honestly one of your dumber troll attempts. Companies tried this and got sued because of it. And lost cause they were wrong just like you are. That's why all their 'free' campaigns clearly state the limit on the number of 'free' items you can get.

Theo has figured out how the Constitution works. Gentlemen, we are making progress.

Interesting. Then you should understand ones needs very well extend past 2 arms.

Home protection: nothin says hello better than a shotgun being prepared.

Carry in public: maybe a 9mm or something similar

Carry in bear country: maybe a shotgun or a 44 mag.

Deer or medium size game Hunting: maybe a .30-6 or similar

Small game: .22 or similar

Large game: maybe a .338 or similar caliber

Militia: maybe an AR or AK. Preferably full auto capable. Maybe even larger caliber full auto like a fifty cal. Probably need multiple arms in this category.

Our founders were very intelligent. Shall not be limited.

I haven't said anything about anyone's needs extending beyond two guns.

What I've said is, someone could limit it to two guns and not literally set aside the second.

So you think 7 would be a more reasonable number?

And as everyone here has told you, that is wrong. You have even been shown the court cases where this was tried and you admitted that ends that 'debate'.

This is another example of you being dishonest. Why is it so hard for you to have an honest conversation on this topic? What are you afraid of?

No, you said what I quoted you said. Which was…

“I have no problem with responsible adults getting a gun for whatever need they have.”

Now you want to limit my needs as well?

And no. 7 isn’t reasonable. As I stated in the well regulated militia need in my post you quoted, you will have several different arms needed. I suggest you stock up on those needs, because the fight is coming to us…whether you like it or not.

I'm asking how many guns you need for everything you want to do.

I cannot fathom that last part.

How do you, as a Jewish man that survived the Nazi occupation of Hungary, rationalize funding people who share the same goals?

It's one thing for American Jews, especially the younger generations who have a bad habit of tossing around the words racist, fascist, and Nazi about willy nilly since they have no objective comparison, but my word, he was there when actual Nazis and fascists walked this world.

It's like a bad joke.

I'm waiting for my two free government guns. When do we get them?😂

By 'gun nut' you mean anyone that believes we should follow the Constitution as written, right?

The irony is, that's about the most extremist position you could take.

And it still doesn't change the fact that you continue to be dishonest about this entire conversation.

Just further validation that todays “moderates” aren’t moderates just because they self identify as such. No different than a man who tucks or cuts isn’t a woman.

We think what would be reasonable is for you to focus your attention on limiting gun access for criminals, not for law-abiding citizens.

But extremists are never reasonable, that's what makes them extremists.

Is there a Constitutional amendment that says “the right to own cars shall not be infringed” and the dealer is saying two cars is all you can have? i.e. I can’t buy another car?

Because otherwise your analogy makes no sense.

That’s a moving target.

Right now I feel pretty safe so three handguns, a bolt action 30-06 hunting rifle (it’s like shooting a small cannon) with a scope and a .22 LR semi auto rifle are probably sufficient.

But check in later, I may change my mind. An AR may be in the cards come bonus time.

Oh, and I drive a 2014 Tundra. It has 4 seats, a 6-1/2 foot bed and a big scary 5.7L V8. I get 11mpg in town.

I also like my steaks Med rare and coach HS sports (and I’m a “yelly” style coach), and I try to lift at least 3 times per week.. I also work on my own cars, unless it’s something crazy (I didn’t do the timing chain on my wife’s V8 Range Rover Sport, for example).

I even pee standing up. I’m pretty much the epitome of evil.

I hate to break this to you but real men only drive Fords, Chevys or Dodges.

Don't hurt yourself rushing down to the dealership.

Don't forget to move your hanging testicles to the new truck.

If you have a 'right' to own cars and you own cars, you're good to go.

Now, if you had the 'right' to own unlimited cars and they restricted you to two, you'd have a case.
