Police say officers engaged with and killed the shooter, identified as a female who appeared to be teenager, carrying two "assault-type rifles" and a handgun.

And nobody noticed this beforehand? Gee, if only we had laws that prevent minors from owning guns, open carry and killing people. Think of the children.

Gun Free Zones do not work. Why are we leaving our legacy's unprotected?
If an adult that works in a school is comfortable carrying a weapon, they should be trained on a regular basis and allowed to have a sidearm in the building at all times.

He threatened a female Co worker a year before. They fired him, nobody thought to call the police.

He was declared at risk in school in the third grade. At 17 he dropped out, having completed the 9th grade. His school records indicate outbursts and bullying.

They never called anybody.

Almost his whole family and everyone he knew said he was depressed, increasingly violent, and suicidal.

They didn't get him help or tell anyone either.

I've known any number of killers in my life, sane and insane, professional or crime of passion. It took awhile to get them behind bars. I believe the best of them never get caught. The good ones either get snitched out or the law of probability caught up with them.

That idiot didn't try to hide it. Still got away with it.
