Gators @ Tennessee...

Just watched a breakdown of some of the bad defensive plays in that S FL game and it was really bad against the run. Edge defenders constantly not doing their job and the new LBs and Burney being lost many times. Powell was totally lost on a couple of plays and they used Cox aggressiveness and lack of discipline on a few plays against us. Cox besides those plays was really covering some ground though making tackles clear on the other side of the field a couple of times. They even ran that LSU counter and we got burned but luckily they didnt stick to that all night.
We miss Miller a lot. He’s by far the best LBer on the team. Not even close. His fill in Scooby Williams could be good in time but he’s completely lost at the moment.

Yep a few times we weren't even lined up right. Hopefully the young LBs learned a lot from that game.

When asked about the Tennessee game on the Bill King show yesterday, TJ Pittinger said he thinks, “Florida Fans know what’s coming…”

Yeah…we know what’s comin’ alright…every fvckin’ year…

Dan Harralson then said that the atmosphere for Tennessee’s match up with LSU next week will be great after the win over Florida…

this occurred in back to back segments in hour two of yesterday’s show…if anyone cares to listen…available on the WNSR app and SoundCloud for those who care to get fired up…

You seem mighty confident, hope you are right

Well college games about to start today. AR will be in about his 12th game he got real playing time and this will be his 5th start. No more excuses as he is a 3rd year player and not some freshman. He has to show it today.

Hope all the Pundits & Talking Heads are Wrong & Sad Gator is Spot On - BUT I don't think so -

Gators seem trapped by the KY blueprint - take away AR's run game & make him try to pass - USF made it work & ran all over us.

FEVER - "No more excuses as he is a 3rd year player and not some freshman. He has to show it today."

"...Florida is in trouble given the current state (NONEXISTENT) of the passing offense.

We’ve seen what Anthony Richardson can do at his best, and it’s possible he could take a step forward this weekend in his first road start. But that feels like wishcasting given his performances in the previous two games. This team may have some seriously problems on offense outside of a strong run game.

The Gators don’t lose to Tennessee. It’s only happened once since 2004, a road loss in Knoxville in 2016. UF has won its last two games in Neyland Stadium, and while I expect the rivalry to bring out a better performance than we’ve seen the last two weeks, the Vols are just the more complete team.

Composite Prediction

The Gators Wire roundtable is in unanimous consensus on the outcome, with all five respondents picking Tennessee to win by as few as 10 points and as many as 18 points. The bitter taste lingering from the last two games is a bit too much for the group to bear, no matter how badly we want the Orange and Blue to prevail.

In the end, our predictions averaged out to a two-touchdown difference between the Gators and Volunteers, ending the five-game winning streak and handing UF a .500 record as it wades deeper into the SEC schedule.
Tennessee 38, Florida 24

Hopefully they have a reason to fire that roundtable after today's game.

What did you see on that drive from the run game that our Oline could get a vertical push on 4th and 2??

Watching the UT-UF game at the KSR grill before heading over to the UK game. Lots of us pulling for the Gators today. Cheers erupted on that fumble recovery a few minutes ago.

Steven,

Agree with you

Kick the FG & Take the points Billy !

Yep, UT has a good offense and UF's défense is......irregular.....AND youre playing at UT.

Don't get cute. Take the points. Mullen tried getting greedy in the first half vs UGA and that was the catalyse to everything facing apart.

Ya'll aren't Les Miles, so stop being reckless.

The first and 10 on the 30 we ran for zero. Pre snap Tennessee has 7 in the box we had 5 Olineman and an h back to block. 6 on 7 doesn’t work in the run game.

Yep they are crowding the box. Richardson needs to throw it where Shorter can go up for the ball

Really just leaving points off the board. Might bite us in the butt in the 2nd half when the lack of depth on défense can't make a lot of stops.

Wow.....our defense really is worse than I thought. Treating our D like they are Citadale or something. It's like watching à game of tecmo bowl on nintendo.

All said, AR is doing well for his type of play. He's taking advantage of an opening to run and he's being more careful with the ball.
