Del Rio is expected to be the backup signal caller for the Gators in 2017, behind Notre Dame transfer Malik Zaire. Florida’s season starts on Sept. 2 against Michigan in Arlington, Texas.

Not sure why they haven't told LDR to try to keep it down on football related stuff after his multiple run ins with the fans on twitter. Starting to think JDR must have never took his belt off when dealing with a young LDR.
I wonder if the writer just made that up or has a reason to believe that. That would look bad on Franks if he does considering Zaire hasn't took a snap yet and LDR is coming off that injury.
