I do not think they understand who they are picking a fight with. Irregardless of how this turns out....THANK GOD for Trump exposing our entire government and how corrupt they are. I actually heard one of them on the radio talking about Kamala's comments. He totally disagreed with her and thought she didn't even read the standards. And he said that what they are saying is that despite the atrocities that was slavery and the horrible life they were forced to live, some, due to their own tenacity, determination and will, endured and overcame and were able to learn skills that even help some buy their own freedom and/or helped them to to achieve success once slavery ended. He thought it was important to that these people not be forgotten or left out of history.
Donalds validate Kamala comments. Just like it's fair to say it wasn't DeSantis that wrote the curriculum, it is fair to say that Kamala was correct in her criticism of those words of "personal benefit".
Listening to the radio interview, the guy from the Advisory Board made it sound like it was not suppose to be taken to mean that slavery was good. I just read through the Standards and unbelievably it does use the term personal benefit. It was a "clarification" to the topic. Definitely bad wording. I have a feeling that Donalds will get his wish for a re-write of this one:
