DeSantis is officially DONE

**** Disney and **** you
I will take that as a yes. Too much for you to figure out.

I am old enough to remember folks like you making arguments for the Patriot Act, in the name of making us safer.

I can’t imagine a scenario where the Government abuses power, and punishes businesses for not agreeing with a policy. Can you?

I'm pretty sure that you guys are going to make a million jokes about him that begin with De-.

Each one funnier than the last.
Well, he sort of brought it on himself. Who changes the pronunciation of their last name as a middle aged man?

Deep musings and thoughts on why its okay for Disney to groom kids. Let me guess, to intrusive for government to impose a ban on partial birth abortion, right? ****ing loser.

Damn! Why does the R party hates Christie so much? I feel like he'll win the general EASILY.
He is too moderate for me, plus, to be honest someone who cant keep their weight under better control than that shows a level of lack of self control.

I get that Christie probably qualifies for morbid obesity but Trump is overweight.

If I'm honest, even if I liked his politics, I'd have a hard time voting for someone who is that obese.

To make matters worse, he's known this for years and he just keeps getting fatter.

And its not like I hate him for it, I feel sorry for him. I hope he gets in under control. But it points to an underlying control problem, and shouldnt be in charge of a country

Christie is 60 years old and he's been morbidly obese for what...20 plus years? More?
That's a fair concern.

I think what he is getting at is, even if you win with Christie, what have you won. We are looking for dramatic change, Christie is more of the same.
I get that he moderate, that's why I think he wins easily. He won as a republican in a blue state, twice. I guess the republican party is looking for far right leadership.

His unfavorables are through the roof. Hell he had like a 15% approval rating towards the end of his tenure as Governor.

We talk in these terms...far right or moderate and so forth. I think the new fault line is establishment and anti-establishment. I believe that we have an unelected permanent administrative state that has its own interests. These interests seem to line up with the interests of multinational corporations, NATO, UN, EU, WHO, WTO....you get the picture. I think that men like Christie exist in politics to create theatre on TV to make Rs feel like someone is looking out for their interests. This is the same with lets say Schumer, or Biden. This where the term nationalists or America First come into play. I want someone who will break the Admin State. That aint Christie.

After bridgegate and then hugging Obama killed him with the Republicans (allegedly). I am still shocked by 70+% that won't even consider him. He is better off becoming a democrat 😆.

Trump definitely was anti-establishment in 2016. That's what had me interested early on.

Yep. And then he hired Tillerson, Sessions, Wray, Bolton, Gen Kelly, and on and on it went. The globalist admin state ( deep state, whatever you want to call it ) must be broken.

There is zero candidate that will do that...

Those candidates hardly exist in 99% of elections. The closest now is that Vivek guy but he sounds stupid.
DeSantis. Went after Disney and ESG. Opposed big phama when it was hard to. Stops Chinese nationals from buying Florida real estate. Fires prosecutors who refuse to enforce the law. The Trump bitches can cry all they want, these things ARE NOT popular with the globalist types. Im not naive, he isnt perfect, but by far the best we got. I will need to be a multi-pronged attack. Prez, courts, and boycotts

Why can some of you admit you were dead wrong about DeSantis?

A year ago, I was the biggest DeSantis cheerleader here. I was wrong about him.

7 years ago at this time, I was the biggest Trump hater here. I was wrong about him.

Just don't understand why some of you can't just admit you were wrong and move on?

Oh and another reason why Chris Christie is a complete piece of shit.

Not only is he perfectly happy to ignore the 2nd amendment for the residents of the garden state, Google new jersey out of state guns and see how many law abiding citizens he's jammed up for having temerity to transport a firearm through his crotch of a state.

He's the Rinoest RINO that ever did RINO, fat Yankee bastard.

DeSantis is surrounded by the establishment. You may like him but you are completely wrong about him not being the establishment.

Well looky here. A golden nugget. The same is true about Trump. Finding people to work around you that are not Deep Staters is damned near impossible. Both of them may have to go to the border and recruit some illegals to fix that.

Let’s see if you are intelligent enough to figure out the ignorance of the comparison you are trying to make here. I doubt it, but it should be entertaining.

If you need resources just let me know, and I will see if I can have them brought to your cage. Until then, I will sit back, and enjoy your complete bastardization of the English language.

While I agree to some extent, there is a pretty large difference between a deep stater sneaking through the cracks for employment, and an acknowledgement that the Establishment is backing someone.

And the sad truth here, is that the Desantis team has not only acknowledged that the Establishment backs their guy…..they embrace it, and expect you to do the same.

The establishment attacks Trump. Rons team embraces the Establishment. To me, that’s the game changer.

It is a mixture. There are some that back Trump all in as well.

The goal posts that have been moved from if Ron does X, I am done" to "a little establishment is a good thing" are quite an interesting psychological dynamic.

I get it; it’s a tough pill to swallow. Especially when he was YOUR governor that we all believed in. But the evidence of who is really in charge of Ron is overwhelming at this point.

In regards to the full weight of the donor class and establishment…..Again, don’t take my word for it.

Take if from Rons own people. They have been clear. That the establishment and donor class are fully behind him, and that’s a good thing.

You and the guys on the other side keep bitching about “the establishment “.

NEWSFLASH they aren’t going away. They KNOW the majority of Americans won’t be paying attention and as long as most of us feel like this so called establishment is far away and doesn’t bother our existence then they’re going to continue being what they are.
Some of these people in that establishment are well intentioned veterans of government and go along to get along. They’ve probably been compromised at least a little but they also know what all the buttons on the control panel do and which ones not to mess with. Like it or not they are necessary but they can be “re-educated”.
We start by reminding them they work for US.

Well....the Governor of Oklahoma AND 20 members of the Oklahoma Legislature have endorsed DeSantis.
When are you and Casper moving?

Majority definitely prefer Mr. Ron.
