I figured you would say that. I see it as Good Cop/Bad Cop (forgive me). Both Bush and Gore were on the same team. Bush was the Good Cop that we thought was on our side, who was really working with the Bad Cop. Same thing with mccain and Mittens.
I always go back to this: When Trump campaigned in 2016, I think we can all agree that his policy stances were pretty much in line with what the average republican wants from their candidates. In fact I was honestly stunned at some of his positions, they were so closely aligned with mine. My only worry was that he was just BSing to try to get elected and didn't intend to go through with any of his campaign promises.
Well he did. He made good on almost all of them, definitely all he could by himself. Starting on Day One.
How did the dems react? How they always react when a pub is in the White House, they fought him.
But how did the pubs react? They fought him even harder.
Washington DC has never been as united as it was when Trump took office. And here was Trump, running on almost all of the positions that we have always demanded our candidates run on.
Yet the dems AND pubs attacked him for it.
That told me the fix was in and that there was only one major party in this country. Not two. Vote for Bush, or Gore.
It doesn't matter. You are voting for the same team.
