Biden Solves High Gas Prices

I paid 3.29 for premium to fill up my Porsche today. Just in case anyone is interested since people like to post what they paid for gas for some reason.

I think that’s about the same I paid about 20 years ago.

Whatever happened to Capt. Ron’s prediction?

QT Southlake regular $3.29.9

My regular was $1.749 when we were energy independent. That was before Biden declared war on the US oil & gas industry. I paid 5.2 cents per kWh. Today I pay 7.8 cents. Texas electricity rates can be tracked by zip code at powertochoose.org. I was paying 11.9 cents. The slow tells me to be overjoyed 'cause my rates have dropped.

You people make me angry. 3.49 at the Marathon on Timquana road.
I paid 3.02 for regular at BJ's yesterday. Pissed me off. Jacksonville (particularly my area) is close to the port and prices generally align with Tampa which is the cheapest in the state. Something is going on, and it stinks. My home town is generally 40 cents higher than here and lately their prices in general are the same or lower than here. The phenomena has been going on all 2023.

Thanks to Sleepy Joe's numerous foreign policy blunders, oil prices are set to soar higher:

Particularly noteworthy is that OPEC+ (notably Russia and Saudi) made this cut unilaterally without giving the US a heads up.

Biden promised economic stagnation and higher crime in Democrat debates. The slow are outraged at the thinking questioning 81 million voting for a shrub who can't draw 5 cars to a Jack in the Box drive thru.

If Joe is serious about reducing American energy prices, he will call on Senate Democrats to support H.R.1 so that he can sign it into law:

This is shitty news. You think inflation was bad before? This will further jack up the price of everything, while sending the economy into a full tilted freefall. The only thing that will ease the pain is full throttle domestic production.

As you and Trump know, consumers and energy are the cornerstones of our economy. Getting through to the slow is completely beyond your reach.

Just filled up the truck and six 5 gallon gas cans for the boats. I would have done more but all of my other gas cans are full. Paid 3.04 a gallon at a discount chain, I'm afraid in two weeks it will be up another dollar a gallon.

Remember, every boat I ever been on in saltwater was gray and property of my Uncle Samuel.
Does the Navy provide all amphibious transport for the Marines? I've always thought Marines is a strange name for the terra firma division of the armed services.

Yes but the ships that haul Marines are "green" in that the commander of the Marine detachment is in charge of the ship not the captain.

We are Marines because originally we were naval infantry for sailing ships of the line because sailors can't fight pirates apparently. Now we conduct amphibious assault. Assuming that rat bastard that took our tanks doesn't think we should let the army have that too.

I don't want to talk about it.
They've slightly eased in the last day. Average around here is about 3.35 according to Gas Buddy. I've got to waste perfectly good fuel tomorrow for a doctors appointment in Fleming Island tomorrow on the wrong side of the river. Quarterly visits for certain meds pisses me TF off.

Well I don't and neither does the Naval anti submarine warfare community.
Here’s the thing, OPEC will always do what’s in their own best interest. As I posted earlier, this will just just help our domestic energy industry, but bottom line OPEC+ will always control oil prices, whether we are energy independent or not. They are the lowest cost producers.

And we can blame the British for OPEC.

If the Brits hadn't given the Sheiks control of the wells Israel wouldn't be an issue.

Please tell me you didn't think the locals found the oil.
No, of course not. But it was on their land.

They still use mostly US technology over there. I've been there many times.
