The flooding in southeast FL created a lot of the recent hikes. Gas from all over the state has been diverted down there and caused a supply problem all over the state. I think it rained 36 inches in a day in southeast Florida. Gas lines are long, and stations ran out of gas, the port couldn't deliver what gas they had is contaminated with water. It's affecting the whole state price-wise.
No, I know about the rain over in the Fort Lauderdale area, they had 17" of rain last Wednesday, an all time record for them.
Fun fact, Dade/Broward are something like +25" or rainfall so far this year.
I just hadn't heard of gas getting contaminated or deliveries not being made. But then again, I don't watch the news much.

4.29 in Sparks, NV ridiculous...like we're all supposed to be okay with north of $4 a gallon here on the west coast. In South Lake Tahoe, CA it's like 5.59 at the Chevron...they are the most expensive in the region.
