I actually witnessed something like this at the parking lot where I worked. It happened 9 years ago as some repo dudes regained possession of unpaid rims and tires. As the chick discovered the missing rims and tires on her car, she tried to act clueless and claimed it was theft. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
So many dumbasses have rims and tires that are far more worth than the car they drive for some reason.

We ask our repo guys to tell us when they're trying to repo a vehicle so that when the owner calls 911, our dispatchers can let them know it wasn't stolen.
It's just a request. We can't force them to comply.

In Alabama this behavior is specifically listed in the criminal code as disorderly conduct.
