Really? This issue is one of the reasons Trump got elected. Remember the SCOTUS list he released? That helped him seal the deal with evangelicals.
Even if this was a "wink" he/they had to know that Roe would be on the chopping block. Maybe he thought the RINO quislings would buckle at the state level and make a bunch of exceptions.
I felt that Roe would be overturned but was cautiously nervous that SCOTUS would chicken out.
The problem is that SCOTUS did not do enough but maybe in the future they will afford the unborn their 5th and 14th amendment right to life as long as the mothers life is not threatened as she has a right to self defense.
Had they done this then there would not be any ballot issues to exploit.

Lastly, and you can believe or not, once we turn on Israel, God will be done with us and we will be punished for that betrayal and for the 60M+ babies we allowed to be killed.

I don't believe that it's our job to make sin a crime. It's our job as individuals to willfully turn away from it. Having the government step in is un-American imo. My wife and I would have never chosen an abortion (outside of a risk to her life...and she would have fought me tooth and nail over that) and the laws didn't matter to us at all.
Prohibition was the morally right thing to do. I see that in a very similar light as outlawing all abortion. This is the individuals struggle with sin, not the governments.
