Yeah and they lost to Ole Miss today 70-60. They'll be in the NCAA tournament, but not sure how far they can go without their leader. Great season regardless, for a team that was picked in the bottom 3rd of the conference, then lost their leading scorer and rebounder in early January. For the first time in a long time, UF Women's BB is not the worst program on campus.
KenPom currently projects the Gators to have only a 30 percent chance of victory vs UK, and the system does not account for potential absences.
Florida head coach Mike White said he “doesn’t know” if senior PF Anthony Duruji will be available to play in the Gators’ Saturday matchup at home against No. 7 Kentucky. Duruji, who ranks second on the team with 4.2 rebounds per game and fifth in minutes per game, has missed Florida’s last two contests due to an ankle injury.
In addition to Duruji’s ailment, junior PF CJ Felder has played sparingly in Florida’s last four contests due to an injury, while PF/C Castleton has also been playing through an ongoing shoulder ailment.
IMO, It would take UK's worst game of the year, along with a minor miracle for the Gators to get the win, but we'll see....

Duruji has played well today. Ky has better players, better coached and our lack of size is killing us. Equals to being down big at home with 7 min left.
We can all look forward to another suck ass 2022-2023 season under Mike White again.
It won't be suck ass, just another middle of the pack type season, on the bubble again. We will need 2 wins this week to have a shot at the tourney.
With more losses to garbage teams like Oklahoma, Texas Southern, Maryland, Ole Piss, and Texas A&M. We don’t deserve to suffer the way we've suffered for the past 5 seasons. If Mike White beats those teams I mentioned above, getting swept by Kentucky this season doesn't hurt our chances to get into the tourney.
We just need a point guard and another big man. Applebee for all his hustle just turns the ball over way too much. And I’m all for great defense but you have to have someone who can shoot. Egor Koulechev and Canyon Barry come to mind (as transfers).

As someone mentioned in his post yesterday, Mike White was simply outclassed by Calipari.
A 5 way tie between UF, LSU, Bama, the Cocks and Texas A&M only means UF pretty much finished 8th among those other 4 teams as UF, led by Mike White, lost to all but the Cocks.
gatordud3 -- Since I don't care about Socialist-U, the way I used to care about UF, I'd be good with them firing Multi-Millionaire Mike, and taking what they and their entitled fans now deserve in his place.

Gives us a chance with 2 wins to get in though since we get Auburn in the 2nd game instead of some lesser ranked team. I think if either us or A&M beat them it may be enough.
And losing every tiebreaker to end up with the 9th seed. 9th out of 14. I guess that's good enough for Instafool. It's not good enough for me.

Agree with your sarcasm here....why fire him? This season has been a pretty good one for him. Why the hell is everyone complaining...look at his yearly records, this year is pretty good..

Name me one other Gator coach who has gone 7 years without an SEC title? You can make excuses and rationalize all you want, but the fact is that Mike White just isn't doing the job that is expected of other UF coaches. UF Men's basketball is a middle of the pack SEC program and that's all we'll ever be under this coach. He runs a clean program - great. He gets a 5 star player every now and then - great . But his teams finish in the middle of the SEC year in and year out. That is NOT the standard of Gator athletics and any other coach in any other program would be replaced with the results he's achieved. Why should he be treated any differently?
I was matching Insta's sarcasm.....White is a good guy but unfortunately he's produced very average results.
Ugly first half. It's almost as if we weren't prepared for what AM was going to do offensively and defensively. Maybe they switched things up during the last few days. Need a big time comeback now.
Looked like one team was ready to play and the other team wasn't. Lazy, poor defense for most of the 1st half and too much standing around and dribbling with no purpose on offense. Lane was the only player giving total effort. But all of that has nothing to do with coaching, though, right??!! Even though that's the story of Gator basketball in a good number of their games for years. Consistently inconsistent. They may come out and play a great 2nd half, who knows?
Lordy. We have 4 turnovers in the fist 3 minutes of the second half. AM running us out of the gym now. AM pressured the ball in the first half so why didn't make some adjustments at halftime?
Yep. I thought there was no way White would get fired after this season, but after this complete debacle he may make another evaluation of the program.
