Zaire to Florida

I guess it's inconsequential that even if he sticks with that 2 years down the road verbal commit, that Zarie will be long gone anyway....

If Zaire got a broken ankle running against NL chump opponents, then he's going to love facing the sissies that play defense in the SEC and the thug criminoles of reFSUcks.

I believe that the criminole's still hold the 'infamous' NCAA record for injuring 7 opposing starting QB's out in a single season, so come on down Zaire... o_O

Not really how injuries work.

I'm so lucky to have an all knowing sports genius like yourself, readily available to jump right in and correct every little thing that I ever post here, not that you're an A-hole stalker or anything remotely like that...

Is it basketball season yet....

WTF, no FSU in the Top 25??? Sounds bogus to me... ;)

http://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...s-top-college-basketball-way-too-early-top-25

The Gators will have one of the Nation's top backcourt combo's:
~ PG Chris Chiozza Sr and SG/PG KeVaughn Allen Jr.
~ Plus, top 100 big man PF/C Isaiah Stokes and elite SG/SF DeAundre Ballard.
~ Rice Grad-xfer SF/PF Egor Koulechov (18.2 PPG, 8.9 RPG, 47% from the arc) could emerge as another star for the Gators.
~ Also Grad-rsSr C John Egbunu 6-11 255 decided to return for post-grad and for his last year of college eligibility. (10 PPG, 6.5 Rbs, 1.4 Blk's)
ACL recovery, not available until sometime between late Nov and early Jan.

So, with a full 13 on ship and with solid depth at every position, the Gators are looking good for another run at the Elite-8. If the younger guys develop across the season, then in March Madness the Gators might even have a real shot at the Final-4....

Oh, wonder why he wouldn't say he was excited to 'sit' in the SEC. People are ridiculous, Zaire will be the starter Day 1. Thats why he came, and thats why Mac pursued him.

I tend to agree. It would take him just not catching on to the playbook at all probably not to be the starter against Michigan. I will be surprised if Franks was to start against Michigan but you never know I guess.

WTF? This is not even a remotely viable argument.

But after a year of hearing how Mac and Nuss won the East and are phenomenal recruiters, now because they are making a shift in philosophy they know nothing?

So basically it's whatever fits your narrative?

With the promotion of Randy and this move on offense, we are finally doing things worth getting excited about for the future... When mac watched that NC game live on the Network it was obvious what we wanted and needed to do for the future and it's happening...

sadgator is pretty certain that even Gary the Retard could master our playbook relatively quickly.

The hardest part about our offense is formation and shifts pre snap for young QB's

then recognizing how the defense adjusts from there, and what to do, so basically two pre snap reads at the line sometimes per play...

We'll see how this all works out with Zaire. It worked out pretty well when Russell Wilson went to Wisconsin. But what does it say to the other QB's on the team? And don't we have at least 4 - Del Rio, Allen, Trask & Franks? Just seems it's clearly signaling that the staff doesn't think any of them are ready to be the starter. I'm a fan of McElwain and have been pleased with what he's done the 1st 2 years. Sure hoping this is a positive move, not only for the upcoming season but for the future of gator football.

Simmons must've been reading my posts. Never seen a player get so much mileage out of one game...a good performance against a Texas defense ranked in the 100's. The game Zaire got injured for the season he was 7/18 against a shit UVA team. When he played against against Texas last year he looked terrible and got glued back to the bench the rest of the season. He's an 'ok' QB.

Since the SEC has now dropped it's own academic standards down to the same level as the football factory schools, the Gators can now take another student/ATHLETE in to waste some classroom time to advance their own football future. That's just so open-minded of SEC/UF that their own brains can now be seem trickling out of their ears and onto the floor....

The once great University of "Florida still needs to resolve an 'academic issue' before officially announcing the transfer." o_O

Is NL's basket weaving class just as good as FSU's chair stacking class, and if so he's in???

So, just as soon as the University of Florida get's it's New & Improved, neutered lame 'Goldbrick Adjustment Rule' in place, everything will be 'hunky-dorey'.... :(

So funny, these are the two things that have me most excited, a legit DC who kids will flock to play for if we perform this year and an offense that resembles something from the modern era

And yes, anyone who heard him during the NC game should NOT be surprised about Zaire or the fact Fields and Emory Jones are both very much on his radar for the next class. And notice Toney didn't switch positions. Unbelievable some people cannot read between the lines

I just wonder which grad-xfer that they are now looking at to bring in next year to replace Zaire? o_O

I've stopped even considering who the next incompetent chump is, that they will bring in from HS to sit on the bench and watch the games...

Time will tell if Zaire is any good, but anytime you bring in someone from the outside it can be dicey. Russell Wilson was the exception, but countless guys never pan out (ala Golson).

This will certainly slow down the progress of Franks and others. If Zaire starts you will have some really ticked off QBs.

instant...it's got to be killing you that the Swamp Donkey and Nutmeg are bringing in one of Jelly Bellies nutless rejects? :D Pretty big indictment of what they must think of the potential starters they already have on campus. Swamp Donkey knows it's about wins and feels Zaire can go that. However, I'm with ya ...how do these young cats ever develop?

What they have done so far with the QB position is a total CLUSTER-PH imo. Mc better be getting Clarabelle ready to go....

And if this goes as bad all the way around as I think in can over the next 1-2 seasons, then keeping a bag packed and a Real Estate agent on speed dial might also be a good idea... o_O

does this show up here

"Great Spring performance" lol He had about the easiest setup I have ever seen for a 1st string QB. My take on this is we could be as bad as 7-5 with Franks if he is as lost as I think he may be and with Zaire we might possibly go 9-3. I think there is no chance of 9-3 with Franks.

Franks will crumble against any decent opponent and defense we would face, I can see it all in his eyes.. and i've had enough driskels for a lifetime

You left Toney off the list. He has yet to switch positions like some said he would.

Writing is on the wall. Zaire and Toney already on the rosters. All the current recruits are duel threat QB's.

Michi has said this for months.

Coaches are looking to start shifting over to an offense with a QB that cam escape pressure and press the defense.

Just hope they can install this in the short time...but why wait... change it now. The offense needs a makeover. Yesterday.

Sure, they'd be pissed but it's their own fault for not securing the job themselves.

Toney and a signee or two may all that will be on the qb roster next season.

Coaches are going the duel threat route it appears.

Fields decommitted from PSU. If you don't think Mac is playing the 'Zaire has one year then we have no QB suited for our system' card, you people are once again being oblivious to the situation. (Not directed at you TG).

Yes, Trask, Franks and Allen are probably not in the plans at UF.
