Stud. May end up being a 5* player when it's all said and done.
Agreed. College football is all about a running QB. Of course there are exceptions.Anyone that thinks we don't need some of this back in our life offensively is insane
If Zaire got a broken ankle running against NL chump opponents, then he's going to love facing the sissies that play defense in the SEC and the thug criminoles of reFSUcks.
I believe that the criminole's still hold the 'infamous' NCAA record for injuring 7 opposing starting QB's out in a single season, so come on down Zaire...
Not really how injuries work.
Is it basketball season yet....
LMAO

The Gators will have one of the Nation's top backcourt combo's:
~ PG Chris Chiozza Sr and SG/PG KeVaughn Allen Jr.
~ Plus, top 100 big man PF/C Isaiah Stokes and elite SG/SF DeAundre Ballard.
~ Rice Grad-xfer SF/PF Egor Koulechov (18.2 PPG, 8.9 RPG, 47% from the arc) could emerge as another star for the Gators.
~ Also Grad-rsSr C John Egbunu 6-11 255 decided to return for post-grad and for his last year of college eligibility. (10 PPG, 6.5 Rbs, 1.4 Blk's)
ACL recovery, not available until sometime between late Nov and early Jan.
So, with a full 13 on ship and with solid depth at every position, the Gators are looking good for another run at the Elite-8. If the younger guys develop across the season, then in March Madness the Gators might even have a real shot at the Final-4....

Spoke to Malik Zaire. He told me he expects to head to #UF on Wednesday & said he's very excited about the opportunity to play in the SEC.
10:50 PM - 3 Jun 2017
Oh, wonder why he wouldn't say he was excited to 'sit' in the SEC. People are ridiculous, Zaire will be the starter Day 1. Thats why he came, and thats why Mac pursued him.

sadgator is pretty certain that even Gary the Retard could master our playbook relatively quickly. It would take him just not catching on to the playbook at all probably not to be the starter against Michigan.
WTF? This is not even a remotely viable argument.
But after a year of hearing how Mac and Nuss won the East and are phenomenal recruiters, now because they are making a shift in philosophy they know nothing?
So basically it's whatever fits your narrative?

sadgator's gonna go way out on a limb and predict that our QB situation is going to be just as unstable in November 2017 as it is right now.
With the promotion of Randy and this move on offense, we are finally doing things worth getting excited about for the future... When mac watched that NC game live on the Network it was obvious what we wanted and needed to do for the future and it's happening....
Our QB situation is as fluid as Kelly Anne Conway's private parts after reading a Trump twitter rant.Don't you do that, Sadgator. Don't you wish that evil on us.

I just wonder which grad-xfer that they are now looking at to bring in next year to replace Zaire?
I've stopped even considering who the next incompetent chump is, that they will bring in from HS to sit on the bench and watch the games...

We'll see how this all works out with Zaire. It worked out pretty well when Russell Wilson went to Wisconsin. But what does it say to the other QB's on the team? And don't we have at least 4 - Del Rio, Allen, Trask & Franks? Just seems it's clearly signaling that the staff doesn't think any of them are ready to be the starter. I'm a fan of McElwain and have been pleased with what he's done the 1st 2 years. Sure hoping this is a positive move, not only for the upcoming season but for the future of gator football.
Time will tell if Zaire is any good, but anytime you bring in someone from the outside it can be dicey. Russell Wilson was the exception, but countless guys never pan out (ala Golson).
This will certainly slow down the progress of Franks and others. If Zaire starts you will have some really ticked off QBs.
So funny, these are the two things that have me most excited, a legit DC who kids will flock to play for if we perform this year and an offense that resembles something from the modern era
And yes, anyone who heard him during the NC game should NOT be surprised about Zaire or the fact Fields and Emory Jones are both very much on his radar for the next class. And notice Toney didn't switch positions. Unbelievable some people cannot read between the lines
Sure, they'd be pissed but it's their own fault for not securing the job themselves.
Toney and a signee or two may all that will be on the qb roster next season.
Coaches are going the duel threat route it appears.
