Yet another of those useless Gator 3 star recruits --- Junior ILB David Reese earned a spot on the 2018 Bednarik Award Watch List, as announced Monday by the Maxwell Football Club. The award is for the Defensive PoY. The Farmington, MI. native led the team in tackles (102) and finished second on the team in tackles-for-loss (10). He also tallied 1.5 sacks, one interception and one quarterback hurry in 2017.
Him and guys like DE Jabari Zuniga, OLB Jeremiah Moon, OT Jawaan Taylor, OG Brett Heggie, and on and on and on,,,, will never be any good because some HS recruiting service (rivals) only gave them 3 stars in their evaluations. Guys like 3 star rsJr OC T.J. McCoy. He's on the 2018 Remington Trophy Watch List.... The Center with the most 1st Team AA votes at the end of the season, wins the award.

That kind of recruit at Choker-ville will likely walk right in to a starting job.
In the SEC, and especially at DB-U (UF) he wouldn't have a chance to be the starter.
There are yearly 100's of D1 prospects in FL HS's, and so the Big 3, the Medium 2, and the little up and coming 2 can only take so many of them:

He just beat up a lot of 2A rural Alabama teams running the triple option.
But that reputation helped Jeremy and his little "camp out on the lawn of the head coaches house" escapade got him the Hoover assistant job and it went from there.
To be fair, Pruitt is a stud recruiter and a great defensive coach. He may or may not be head coaching material, but the problem is that Cheatersee right now is probably the worst possible landing spot for a first-time coach. A first-time head coach at the college level paired with a power-hungry AD who stabbed the former AD in the back to get his job, while really wanting Pruitt's job. First time Pruitt loses a big game, fulmer will start the whisper campaign to fire Pruitt and elevate him to the job.
A trainwreck waiting to happen, and it will be glorious to watch.
BINGO. This hire was all about Fat Phil. Fat Phil is going to stab Pruitt in the back the same way he did Johnny Majors. It’s not a matter of if just when. The train wreck will continue at Tennessee. That program is in absolute shambles. Tennessee fans know it and many of them will flat out admit it that having Fat Phil as the AD isn’t going to end well.

This is the last weekend before the start of the football season practice and the next dead period.
