Will Kentucky fans rush the field if UK wins?

Catmania spotted at Rupp Arena...

Kentucky fans are apparently taking this game seriously. Probably way too seriously

:(

I remember the year when Leak was a freshman, UK had I believe his name was Arlis Beech or something. Lady behind me kept raising a clever sign something along the lines of "Cats have sprung a Leak, Beech the Gators" .. she disappeared after Jello Lorenzen threw the pick 6 to walk on Johnny Lamar.

That was 2003 and it was killer for Cat fans. Especially, the roughing the punter call and the called back Abney punt return that would have sealed the game.

As a Kentucky fan, I think that's its safe to say that a few Kentucky fans watching the game at home on tv would rush
Would it be the biggest win in school history if it occurs?

Gotta think so, right?
After reading your post, no. It absolutely wouldn't be anywhere close to the biggest win in school history, nor this millennium. Beating then #1 and eventual BCS champion LSU in 2007 was exponentially bigger.

If my team had lost 30 years in a row to another team I think I would consider it a bigger win than upsetting the # 1 ranked team. It wouldn't even be close imo unless the upset of the # 1 team led to a conference championship or something similar.

Well we hadn't beaten a #1 team since the 60s and we beat Florida last in 1986 (actually 2014), so I would disagree with your assertion that this would be a bigger win.

Beating Bama 20 years ago was pretty big too....beating Auburn a few years ago for first time since '60s was big. But this damn streak needs to end - it's like an angry boil on our ass that inflames once a year for a month

I was there, in the endzone... directly next to the Gator band sitting with the Gator players parents section, right up behind Keiwan Ratliffs family.. Which we found out we were related to, he's from the same place in Ohio, that my mothers family comes from, and with the same last name as my Mothers maiden name.. Somewhere along the line someone mixed it up with the milk man in the 40's or 50's.. It was pretty and kinda neat and a really cool deal to find out I was related to my Favorite Gator player on the roster in those days at that time...

Do you really think that all the years of good will we've given you, IPD, will still be as good after you called us, your friends, a "boil on your ass?"

My my.

Hmm.... are you the personification of the streak? I think it's a stretch to assign yourselves as the target of that comment

Im the streak, im 31 and a half...

Perfect timing for ESPN to start doing feel good pitter pat heart stories, when you start 3-0.. you find out that teams QB has tourettes syndrome and a story about beating it and helping a young kid.. Tourettes is perfect naturally for a QB's cadence...

sadgator hadn't even had sex yet the last time Kentucky beat Florida..now, he and mrs. sadgator have sex all the...

come to think of it...the entire period of sadgator's sexually active life took place within the streak and has now come full circle.

It is pretty astonishing.

I see how beating the #1 and eventual national championship is big....but what success was built off of that win?
We did go to 5 consecutive bowls during that time, which was success for a Kentucky program that hadn't been to back to back bowls since 1998 and 99. Then we hired Joker Phillips.

If U.K. Loses tomorrow, I guarantee I'll have Tourette's, the swearing kind

I live in that car, instaGATOR... you would too if you were lucky enough to own such a fine ride.

Actually, I could prolly buy 3-4 of those old used hunks for what my Lay-O-ded out GMC with mag wheels and 20" tires cost new.... ;)

(a nice car actually, but that's all, just a nice old car dude)
