Patriot Americans may like MAGA but they increasingly don't like Trump.

He's never going to win a presidential election again. The democrats will continue cheating their asses off and republicans will be divided.
If they continue cheating then it doesn’t matter who runs. Just sayin.

Patriotic Americans don't like MAGA and they abhor trump

And whenever someone presents some PROOF that anyone is "cheating their asses off" I would suggest presenting that evidence to a court otherwise its nothing but baseless excuse making for losing regularly in elections when put before the American people

I don't care for PDT either but I think he's an effective leader that places our country first. He's at least Christian-friendly, unlike Biden/Obama who is against nuclear families and Capitalism.

Effective leader? Are you kidding?

I think his policies are very appealing to decent Americans. HE is the problem.

We just need good candidates who will appeal to moderates too. We put some real stinkers out this time.
Like mccain or like romney?

And saying having a moderate will stop folks from cheating is one of the most naive things I have ever heard someone say.

A moderate, that will keep dems from wanting power. Uhuh.

How long you been watching politics? 2 years?

I voted for Jimmy Carter. Did you vote for him or Ford?

And I didn't say we needed a moderate. I said we need someone who will appeal to moderates. Not drive them away. Like Trump.

I forgot. We can end the discussion now. Any point in having a logical discussion ends when someone says “I voted for Jimmy Carter”. It further deteriorates when they follow it up with, I wanted Kasich.

Yikes.

FWIW, I would like to reiterate, if someone cheats, nominating a moderate means nothing.

Furthermore, nominating someone who appeals to a moderate is a non starter even if things are fair. See Mccain, See Romney. Bush ended up being a …well I would say Governed like a rat, but ran as a conservative who appealed to moderates. He was a disaster.

You know how I know you’re on the wrong track? Far left extremists like Ray are liking your thought process.

You asked me how long I've followed politics. I guess you want to drop that line of questioning.

I have opinions that far left extremists will like just like I have opinions that far right extremists will like. I'm not a slave to either side.

No, you are a slave to the left, you just don’t realize it. They lick their chops when a pub says he wants to compromise. It’s as good as good, maybe even better than one of their own. That’s why I asked how long you have been following politics. Apparently you forgot the great moderates mccain and Romney?

Thats why have always said, moderates are worse than dems. They get to play ball for the other team while saying they are on the home team.

A moderate is the reason pubs are getting crushed in PA. Thank you mccain-feingold.

I'm a slave to the left? I vote straight republican. 😂

Moderates are worse that dems? Maybe take a step back and think that one over.

Nope. I have been consistently saying that for years. I know what a dem is, a moderate will smile at you and stab you in the back as you walk away. Hello liz cheney, mccain, romney, the lincoln project etc. They have done more damage to pubs than any dem could ever dream of.

I remember well, moderates and the media telling us all that we needed a moderate to win in 2008 and 2012. How did that go?

I also remember Trump smashing that narrative.

@jfegaly @GatorTheo

In red states you should demand a conservative pub. In blue and purple a RINO is better than a dem. So moderates are a problem when they get elected in red states.

Look Manchin and Sinema have been thorns for dems so both parties have tweeners. In fact if we win Ga., Scott or someone not named McConnell better offer Manchin a pallet of coal, oil and nat gas to switch and get us to 51.

Setup a gofundme to bribe him outright. Offer him whatever committees he wants. Backup the truck.

I am of the opinion that if pubs never wavered in their beliefs and morals there wouldn’t be purple states. Just my two cents.

I am also of the belief, and backed by data, that moderates at the National level (specifically President)are a disaster because you got folks like myself who vote by not voting in those elections. See 2008 and 2012. Not to mention, if they compromise values with dems (something dems do not do), then there is no point. Case in point….the disastrous Bush Presidency.

While I understand the premise, compromise with dems always ends up doing more harm than good because there is an end game for dems. So again, I understand the premise, just don’t agree with it.

Here is the point. Who is more likely to compromise? I already told the board I didn’t vote in 08 or 12. If I had to guess, Theo voted in 16 for Trump. Just sayin.

Susan Collins is an example of a RINO in purple/blue. I do not know that a Cruz,Lee,Jordan,Gaetz could win in Maine.

But Romney is a problem in UT.

UT is red and there should not be a moderate pub/RINO coming from the same state as Mike Lee.

AK can and should do better than Murkowski. Ranked choice was her way of trying to hold on to power. We shall see if it ultimately unseats her and even helps Palin when ballots go to the second level.

Then Ron DeSantis will never win a presidential election at all.

I would agree currently. My point was if they had never gone down the path of compromise, Maine may very well be a Red State. We will never know but the anecdotal evidence is there. Moderates keep telling us we need to be more center with Presidential nominations, yet those folks always get crushed.

Furthermore, it doesn’t do much good to have republicans (rinos) that regularly cave to the peer pressure of the left. At that point, we are voting just because they have a R next to their name, and it becomes pointless.

Agreed. But if republicans were 100% America First candiates, they wouldn't waver.

Dump the Susan Collins types and replace them with Kari Lakes, and we never lose a free and fair election.

Dems have to cheat their asses off to be the minority party. Any questions?

I agree that the pub nominee for prez needs to be a conservative. I am just saying a RINO in a purple or blue state is better than a dem at least on a Senate level if it gives pubs power.

If it results in gridlock because of RINOs that is better than "progress" in "getting something done" which usually means more government not less.

Now if we had real pubs across the board we might actually shrink government and roll back some of these laws that coddle/promote licentiousness. Some of which supposed conservatives on here support.

I voted for Trump twice. The only republican I didn't vote for was McCain. I didn't vote that time.

I disagree. Compromising our principles and watering down our candidates to appeal to the CURRENT voter makeup is why we keep losing.

Stick to your guns, and your voter base will find you.

Which is more evidence to the point I was making. Wavering moderates like mccain cause a ton of problems and don’t win. Trump ran as An America First Conservative and crushed it.

He hasn’t changed.

"Everyone hates Trump! Dems will cheat, and Trump will never win again, just move on!"

"So if the dems cheat, how will DeSantis win if he runs?"

"...........everyone hates Trump!"
