I don't care for PDT either but I think he's an effective leader that places our country first. He's at least Christian-friendly, unlike Biden/Obama who is against nuclear families and Capitalism.
We just need good candidates who will appeal to moderates too. We put some real stinkers out this time.

My opinions are all over the place but, overall, I'd call myself a moderate conservative.

Nope. I have been consistently saying that for years. I know what a dem is, a moderate will smile at you and stab you in the back as you walk away. Hello liz cheney, mccain, romney, the lincoln project etc. They have done more damage to pubs than any dem could ever dream of.
I am of the opinion that if pubs never wavered in their beliefs and morals there wouldn’t be purple states. Just my two cents.

I would agree currently. My point was if they had never gone down the path of compromise, Maine may very well be a Red State. We will never know but the anecdotal evidence is there. Moderates keep telling us we need to be more center with Presidential nominations, yet those folks always get crushed.

I agree that the pub nominee for prez needs to be a conservative. I am just saying a RINO in a purple or blue state is better than a dem at least on a Senate level if it gives pubs power.

I voted for Trump twice. The only republican I didn't vote for was McCain. I didn't vote that time.
I disagree. Compromising our principles and watering down our candidates to appeal to the CURRENT voter makeup is why we keep losing.
Which is more evidence to the point I was making. Wavering moderates like mccain cause a ton of problems and don’t win. Trump ran as An America First Conservative and crushed it.
I didn't vote in 2008 or 2012. McCain and Romney were both garbage candidates.
