The gag orders are in furtherance of this effort, preventing President Trump, the inevitable Republican nominee for president, from responding publicly to this legal and judicial tyranny. The DOJ has an even higher duty, which is why it has seasoned individuals who do this for a living. And in this case, the entire existence of the special counsel it to investigate President Trump.
