Understanding politics in this country

@kalimgoodman is the democratic party. Claims to be independent, work for all, especially blacks. Does the very opposite on every issue.

@grandhavendiddy is the republican party. Claims to be republican, pushes back on ancillary issues the dems want, but when it's time to stay true the party's core beliefs, usually caves to the dems.

@fatman76 is the average American voter. Smart, becoming less dependent on mainstream news and doing more and more research on his own on every issue. Finding that increasingly, neither party is giving him candidates that align with his values.

I'm fiscally conservative, almost libertarian economically (very pro free market) but fairly liberal on some important social issues. I don't fit into either box very well, but skew right based on priorities...and it's mostly due to which set of policies deliver outcomes that benefit the biggest group of people. A strong, thriving economy lifts all boats.
