Grier is a little bit Favre/Stafford-ish. Makes all the great plays, not sure great decision making will ever come,

Sort of agree with this, but it's very early. He's had about a total of 1.5 games in real playing time now.

Specifically defense?

It was designed to be a quick play to capitalize off the play-action. Everyone expected run.

The defender made a great play on the ball, huge vertical.

We wouldn't even be there without Grier's running ability and quick release.

Damnit. That would have put them away.

This is why I NEVER want tonsee us recruit or use another statue QB

Yea that comment was all about the defense. The offensive issues are what we've expected. But I'm a defensive guy and this scheme is pissing me off.

My fears about this oline and its impact on Grier seem to eve coming through. He's not even looking to pass anymore unless we scheme a quick throw. As soon as he plants that back foot he's looking to take off. I'm guessing this oline has him gun shy.

He has to most of the time. It's that or get sacked because the pocket is gone and there's no hope for a running lane.

Defense needs to hold these guys and stop giving it up on 3rd and long. I know that that horrible non call on the last series didn't help but we have got to tackle in the open field and stop these guys on 3rd down. A turnover would be nice right here.

Yeah, I'm not watching but listening to the game...announcers have said a few times he is making some nice runs but seems to be leaving way too early.

Don't get me wrong, the pocket has not been great by any means. But he's not even giving them a chance now, understandably. They were getting him killed early on and now he's just bailing at the first sight of any pressure.

Damn. There has been some home cooking going on. They picked up the flag. Hargraves got tackled on a breakaway run and we got a personal foul on the same play. Bullshit!

Grier has a lot more upside than Treon. Treon isn't chopped liver though. I'm guessing we'll see him next series.

I think they need to put Treon in. One because Grier looks injured and there's no way he can hold up continuing to run for his life. And two the offense has been ineffective anyway, it can't hurt.
