We are getting by on raw talent defensively right now. Our scheme isn't very good and we're very undisciplined. We also let the offense dictate way too much for my liking. For example we've been in dime the entire first half in reaction to UK going 4-wide. When we have enough versatility to run a hybrid nickel look and still defend the pass without leaving one linebacker out there. UK is stupidly trying to pass on us when they could line up and pound us over and over because of our formation. And the missed tackles and huge cushions our DB's keep giving their receivers is just silly.

Finally got bit. Grier has been flirting with disaster for two games now. We should have ran there anyway so that's also on the play calling. They haven't stopped our multiple TE formations all game.

It was designed to be a quick play to capitalize off the play-action. Everyone expected run.

The defender made a great play on the ball, huge vertical.

We wouldn't even be there without Grier's running ability and quick release.

Damnit. That would have put them away.
