Eleven top-five team finishes - including men's outdoor track & field's third consecutive NCAA title - propelled Florida Athletics to a fourth-place finish in the 2023-24 LEARFIELD Directors' Cup final standings.

It's a good thing that they got a great HC with a 50+ staff that can really recruit.....Yep a Miami loss would likely be fatal to Napier short of Lagway taking over and getting a 6-6 record (I highly doubt 6-6 with Mertz starting the whole season would save him). 2 other games that losses would be very hard for him to overcome are UCF and KY.
