A cold front will move through the region late this week, which, combined with a shift in the jet stream, will allow colder-than-average temperatures to infiltrate portions of the northern tier of the United States while the warm conditions remain in the South.

I've lived in Alabama all my life. For my entire life, the weather was the same every year.
February was bitterly cold. But by the first week of March, Spring was here. By the first week in March, the heaters weren't used again till December. Maybe the heat would come on as late as the 2nd week in March, but that was rare.
Yet both this year and last, we've used the heaters all the way till the last week of April. First time in my life its happened here, and it's been this year and last.

Yep. Critical thinkers know 'actual scientists' are producing corrupted conclusions based on manipulated data to manufacture studies that confirm the idea they want to advance; that man-made climate change is a real thing.
But more importantly, critical thinkers can walk outside and see the weather isn't getting warmer, it's getting cooler if anything. But 'actual scientists' aren't performing for critical thinkers who can see them for who they are, they are performing for zealots like @BSC911 who want to believe, even though science shows they shouldn't.
In the 70s and early 80s, it was "there's an ice age a comin'!" from the man-made climate change hoaxers. Then around the late 80s, they shifted to 'global warming".
But there's already been so many scandals and 'studies' that were found to be fraudulent that everyone with common sense can see that the globe isn't warming.
So I think in the next 5 years or so, they will start to transition back to 'global cooling'. And they will somehow spin that "man's dumping of carbon into the atmosphere and use of 'fossil fuels' has been a shock to our climate, which has caused a violent shift in temperature and climate patterns".
And the sheep will gasp, and tell us how we have to immediately change our lifestyles if we want to save the planet for our children.

A number of U. S. and Russian scientists believe we're cooling. You won't read it in the LA Times. It's past my birthday in central Texas and I've had my heat on. Unheard of.
Same here, running the heater in the mornings and at night in the middle of May in Alabama.
Never happened before. And remember, man-made climate change hoaxers tell us we are in the middle of the hottest 5 years in the planet's history.
Just got home from work. It's 2:38 PM CDT. It's 73F in my living room with heat off. My set point is 74F. I'll probably have to run heat tonight. My birthday is April 26. We turn heat off at my birthday till late October in central Texas. This does not happen.
