…..and btw, I don’t think firearms should be your first much less only option on the protecting your family tool kit. In my home, we have a Belgium malinois mix. Like firearms, these types of animals should only be on the homes of experience owners with time to train them. We should include heavy bag work on our exercise routines. Knives / bats and on and on. However, if multiple men are going to force their way into your home at night you are going to need a firearm that you have trained with and are comfortable with. It’s that simple. Anything less is dereliction of your fatherly duty

If you read a few posts above, I told you that protecting your family should be a toolkit. Guns are only one tool, for specific scenarios. Yes, I think people should own dogs that fit their abilities as an owner. I think you should own and now how to handles blades of all sorts. Clubs/bats etc. you should train your body with an intense fitness routine, and regularly work the self defense muscle memory with a heavy bag. Yeah, its more than just guns.
