In before the gun confiscation NUTS.....

And STILL have not shared with everyone your plan if someone breaks in to your home to do harm. What is your plan, Theo? I am not going away...I will bring this up until you answer. So this will kind of be like your mom telling you , that you are getting a whipping when your Dad gets home. What is your plan, since I am SURE that you do not own firearms. That would be SO hypocritical.
A man who cannot answer the "break in" question should refrain from having childen. You shouldnt have children if you can't protect them, its your top priority.

just carry it on you when DeSantis signs the bill.

Edit: nevermind, when it goes into effect.
Got any good recs? Hammerless 357 magnum? Something short and light. I'd want something to carry loaded but without a round in the chamber. Looks like I'll be You Tubing quite a bit.

I have very good recommendations here. Find something that you WILL carry. Something that is not so big that you refrain from carrying it, and leave it in your vehicle. Ruger makes a REALLY NICE .380(LCP) that you can carry, and will not even know it is in your pocket.

You're going to be around salt spray and humidity alot?
Don't need a gun in the boat. I don't go that far offshore much anymore. Not worried about pirates now.;) 10 miles is as far as I care to go, max. Just something for the console next to the driver's seat in my truck.

I carry a Glock 30S when I'm out and about, and my go to house gun is a Jericho 941F in 9mm. A stainless revolver even a stubbie hammerless is going to hold less ammo, print more, and is just as heavy.

Is that IWI steel framed or plastic ?

It's the damnedest thing rere it's a 3 inch barrel 45 acp poly frame and THERE IS NONE.

Instead of recoil and muzzle flip, the whole pistol sort of smushes back into your hand half an inch, even one handed.

Its astonishing.

That’s impressive.

Maybe I should have looked into one of those instead of getting a Glock 19, the “Toyota Corolla of Firearms.”

The holy grail of my Glock collection will be a fish scale G19 RTF2. There's a guy in New Hampshire that has one but he won't ship it and it's illegal for me to drive up there and buy it.

also Navy Seals have been carrying G19 as soon as they were authorized to ditch the Beretta M9.

People drive Corollas because they work not because they're unique.

How many people were killed in Chicago over the weekend with knives, clubs or swords?

And you won't be happy until we have drive-by Chinese starrings in the streets of Chicago? I read you.

Then again, if your issue is what a product was made for (killing humans) then the things I mentioned would bother you as well.

Yes, I realize that this is ridiculous. Then again, it was your point, not mine.

Well that and shuriken weren't designed to kill.

Look how long it's taken to reduce the number of smokers. Decades. Think of how hooked people were but it's gotten a lot better.

Ummm...wut? You're comparing smoking to gun ownership?

Let's track your thinking, regardless of how ridiculous it is. What you're hinting at is incrementalism. Fine...that's what people like you do. But do you see any issues with that plan?

Like, for example, once you outlaw cigarettes, and the cigarettes are smoked then they're gone. It's a perishable product. Are guns a perishable product?

If we have 400 million guns in this country, how long will it take to get them away from their owners using the cigarette model? How will any of them go away using the cigarette model?

PS...cigarette smoking is tanking because young people prefer to vape. Cigarettes are to vaping as guns are to _______? Fill in that blank.

Gun fanatics disagree

Pretty easy, and petulant, to simply refer to people who disagree with you as a fanatic.

If that doesn't work, might I suggest stomping your feet, holding your breath or perhaps throwing yourself onto the ground while having a fit?

Such a perfect example of gun fanatic 'logic'.

Why aren't people with common sense just as upset about knife, club and sword violence as they are gun violence?

Seriously, don't ask anyone that in real life.

It was your standard, you turd. "Purpose built to take human life."

I now accept that you are withdrawing that standard so I withdraw my silly examples of such.

There was a study in France that linked cigarette smokers to higher immunity to covid. I'll go with that, as I never had it. 😂 Totally unrelated but I have O negative blood. There's some studies that have been done on that as well.
