You're assuming that he needs to be fired up about the 2nd amendment. We "fanatics," meaning people who don't agree with you, we're already pretty stoked about our freedoms.

Well, to start with, you asked if I was against all laws...which is a patently absurd question, obviously.
More specifically, a law against murder is probably less restrictive on personal freedoms than a law preventing one from the right to bear arms.
I think you were offended by the notion of being a fan of the nanny state. That's fine...but if that bothers you, stop being a fan of nanny state. Getting pissy with me seems sort of pointless.

There will be a lot more dead kids if only criminals have guns. Which happens a lot in "gun free" inner cities with drive by shootings.
And those 'gun free' zones are enacted and enforced by the same people that claim we have to do something about all these dead kids.
Unless we are overrun by a communist regime (internally or externally) guns are not going away. How do we fix this? Start enforcing gun violence laws already on the books, lock them up and start executing them.
We fix it by focusing on the criminals. Certain posters here don't want to hear that, but I want to actually solve the problem.
And the problem isn't guns. Toddlers get this.
And the other extreme says we need to focus on guns.
Why not meet in the middle with reasonable people and focus on both?

More guns in the hands of criminals absolutely leads to more gun violence. Add in the layer of 'gun control' (ie taking guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens) and you get even more gun violence. Then add a layer of 'defund the police' (no one around to stop the criminals with the guns from harming the law-abiding citizens that you took the guns from) and gun violence skyrockets even more.
If it seems far-fetched to you, then you've been too busy being hoodwinked by the left. They run this same scam all across the country with riots. And in CA with forest fires.
Create the need for 'aid', then get billions from the US government, then the 'aid' gets funnelled to the dems in charge, and the problem they requested the 'aid' for never gets fixed.
They have a constant need for 'aid', so they keep getting it.
And you keep defending them as they do. Sheep live to be hoodwinked.
