In before the gun confiscation NUTS.....

Because we make it easy. We are flooded with guns in America. I believe we're the only country with more guns than people and it's not even close.

Why do we have so many illegal immigrants when it's illegal? Because we make it easy.
Nope. illegal immigration dries up when you make it not worth the time to do it. And if our Mexican buddies are telling the truth even with our relatively lax immigration laws they are telling their people to stay in Mexico.

Florida has the most concealed carriers of any state including Texas. We also have 10-20-life.

Automatic:

10 years for possessing a firearm during the commission of a crime
20 years for discharging a weapon during a crime
Natural life for injuring or killing anyone during the commission of a crime, on top of the attempted murder or murder charge.

That's pretty easy. Right?

If course now criminals who were fully capable of shooting someone in the first place now shoot cops and nuns and anyone else they have to not to get caught.

The federal government prosecuted no more than 12 percent of the firearms cases brought before it. And that's the high number.

Criminals don't engage in crime because it's easy, they engage in crime because it's profitable. I won't say being easy doesn't help.

We have laws against murder because while even if there was no law most people aren't going to murder someone and laws don't stop psychopaths. The laws are to stop the people who don't think they could get away with it or don't think they could handle the punishment.

Still haven't explained why the good folks of the Vicelords have guns and sell drugs when they know it's illegal.

I have no idea why I typed all this since your going to grab one sentence out of context or pretend you don't know what I'm talking about.

What am I not answering?

Yes, criminals don't obey the law.

Yes, as long as guns exist, criminals will get them.

Guns aren't going away. In fact, projectile/laser armaments will in fact become more technologically advanced. Look at the evolution of the arms industry. Anyone skilled in tool and die with access to raw materials can make them and their ammunition in their basement. 3D printing is becoming more advanced. No law is going to stop a criminal. Unregistered fentanyl is illegal, yet here we are. More laws aren't going to fix anything. People have got to change, and that is' only getting worse. You fight fire with fire, "well organized militia" argument completely excluded.

This is the third and final time I'm going to ask you this.

You think that if there were fewer guns in circulation there would be less gun violence.

Short of snapping your fingers and making them disappear, how do you propose to get guns out of the hands of the people who commit the majority of gun violence, criminals?

Yes. I've said that many times. Fewer guns will result in less gun violence.

NOTE: It wouldn't be a quick process. If you create a 'gun free zone', gun violence won't decrease that same day.

1. Arrest criminals including anyone providing them with guns.
2. Put them in jail.
3. Destroy their guns.
4. Repeat for a couple of generations and see where we are.

There! Someone was claiming no one ever talked about 3D guns being a factor.

@EvilWayz, was it you?

edit: nm...it was @Capt Ron 1

Of course guns aren't going away. Of course there will always be criminals.

It's nowhere near being perfected, but it's coming. Criminals will just make their own if all guns are removed from the street.

What do you think we do now?????????????????

With the exception of the federal government prosecuting 100% of gun trafficking cases of course.

I have no control over what Navi says. And I own a 3d printer and my tattoo artist owns a CNC mill. Neither one of us makes guns for anyone, we make them because we can, for personal use.

I suppose we could but we aren't criminals. And my sintered metal cost more than my car. Other than the mob, who's going to buy a 3d printer when they can steal a gun or buy a black market one?

When Theo cleans up all of the guns on the street, 3D printer company stock is going to skyrocket.😂 I'm pointing out to him even if he shuts down the entire arms industry, guns aren't going away. I'm not a techie but I guarantee you a `15 year old with a 3D printer and a VPN can print out instructions how to make one.

It's been tried around the world and the results are always the same: More gun control leads to more gun violence and more gun death.

The left preys on emotional thinkers like you, cause you help them get the more gun violence they are looking for.

When you wake up to that fact, then you can go on to asking more intelligent questions like "Why on earth would the left want to see MORE gun violence???"

Why indeed.

This actually should say..."THIS IS THEO WHEN A BAD GUY BREAKS IN TO HIS HOUSE TO DO HARM TO HIM AND HIS FAMILY"

Unfortunately democrats keep getting elected and let criminals back out on the street instead of jail where they belong, therefor we NEED firearms to protect ourselves
Which means the dems are intentionally creating an environment where gun violence thrives.

Hopefully one day @GatorTheo will put his emotions aside and ask 'Why on earth would the left want to INCREASE gun violence???"

Why indeed.

The dems absolutely contribute to the culture of gun violence. They love those communities being in turmoil because it leads to reliable votes.

Wait! Are we looking at other countries today because yesterday they were off limits.

I didn't look and I have no plans to. I know you said it and you know you said it. And I'm done with this "discussion." There's no respect or middle ground here and so it's a waste of both our time.
I don't blame you for backing off.

Next time, find the actual quote before accusing me of saying something I didn't say.

I don't blame you for backing off.
Yes, because everyone in this thread agrees you're wrong even people that can't stand each other and still you persist with your nonsense. This is not backing off, it's plain old giving up. I think you're a retard and a waste of time and I imagine the feeling is mutual. You have enormous balls calling yourself a conservative.

I'm sure you're teary eyed at the prospect of a gun nut making an unwarranted accusation.

Gun fanatics disagree with my position on guns? You are absolutely correct.

If you were to actually read the things I say, you'd see I'm pretty conservative.....particularly on social issues. I'm just not a gun nut so y'all think I'm liberal.

I've been on messageboards since Al Gore invented the internet. I'm totally used to unwarranted accusations but I think it makes for better discussions when people don't go that route.

If GatorBait had a password recovery back in 1998, I'd call you Sonny. You weren't even here during the board meltdown when Spurrier announced he was going to the Redskins. "Server not available, please try later." 😂 Sad because there were some epic Free Shoes and Dillards "Heistman" memes that simply can't be found now.:(

We are looking at all countries.

Chicago is the murder capitol of the world. Also the most dem-run city in America with some of the strictest gun laws in the world.

One day you will grow up and put your emotions aside and see you are being played. Till then, keep crying.

I was on GB from the beginning. I was posting on Warchant at the time and Dot suggested that I might like the new Gator board. ;) I even moderated for a few years.

And gun crazies like you clutching your pearls makes their job 100% easier. You are the definition of a 'useful idiot'. Get you riled up and emotional, send you off in a tizzy, and watch the body count add up.

Search history won't even let us go back prior to 2006. I guess during one of the mergers all history got lost, or purged. I'm going to look at one of my SD cards and see if I can find those old memes. 😂

I've never felt compelled to own a pistol because of the tard rules having one in the vehicle. Long guns are just fine for home defense, especially buckshot at point blank range. I think I may get a shorty now, being a life long resident of Florida and don't often go out of state anymore. One carried right under seat will work nicely. I'll look for one for Theo too. :D

just carry it on you when DeSantis signs the bill.

Edit: nevermind, when it goes into effect.

FIFY, son.....

Yeah....I'm riled up and emotional. 😂
And STILL have not shared with everyone your plan if someone breaks in to your home to do harm. What is your plan, Theo? I am not going away...I will bring this up until you answer. So this will kind of be like your mom telling you , that you are getting a whipping when your Dad gets home. What is your plan, since I am SURE that you do not own firearms. That would be SO hypocritical.
