Gators to Hire Ron Roberts as LB Coach, Co-Defensive Coordinator ?

He made it sound like delays in confirming things is possibly part of it. That talk about education is nonsense to a degree imo and will keep hurting us if it isnt improved at admissions. Also we have players just like everyone else majoring in recreation mgmt you would be shocked somehow got admitted or got a degree. The same with Universities with higher admittance standards than UF.
Fever,

Realize you're right & that sadly, UF offers watered down degrees just like most other Power 5 & Group of 5 (Coastal Carolina ?) schools.

With NIL$$$, some students will take the Deon Sander's option & as a courtesy to their fellow students, give up their space in the classroom !
On a permanent basis.
LOL

Give it up we only had to wrestle him away from Central Michigan and he played joke competition mostly. Maybe he will eventually do good but there is nothing on tape like there was with Trask to point to real good passing ability. You can keep dreaming he is at the Heisman ceremony but I doubt that happens.

See if Washington wants him in the portal I guess.
Your own clueless drivel is not any kind of proof of your own bogus claims.
And you only use the Napier quotes that suit your own drivel claims, while ignoring his other more in-depth quotes.

Billy and I watched the same tape, and he agrees with me on the Max potential, not you, so maybe you are the one that needs to just give it up with your own idiot feveredbrain claims on the competition level that Max faced. It was the same 3A level that Tebow faced, but you ignore that fact too.
I'm still good with letting others watch and judge the Max highlights tape, and then decide for themselves.

Lol,,,but you dog Billy for saying Brown has a lot to learn still the past 2 Springs and for not giving him 1st team snaps. So which is it?

I hope this means he may be coming here this Summer. It would give him a leg up on the other future QB recruits.

Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney tends to use a few mass recruiting events. Claims to get, sooner or later, the majority of his class that way.

Wouldn't surprise me if June worked out that way for CBN

Of interest

Sign me up!

While speaking to reporters, Clemson Tigers head football coach Dabo Swinney was asked about the prospect of preseason games on an NCAA college football schedule, and he’s gloriously all in!

Swinney, whose Tigers play their annual intrasquad spring game April 15, is interested in seeing his team square off against other schools before the actual college football schedule begins — a preseason. And he wants it just like the NFL where it happens in the fall just before the first game of the official campaign.

See & agree with Insta on the Injury potential; especially right before start of the season, so I don't agree with this concept, but I didn't agree with 12 teams in the CFP either. So I may end up the odd man out here as well.

Quotes from Sports Illustrated on QB-dt Max Brown:

"Brown is a solid QB prospect
that seems to have fallen through the cracks as far as rankings and scouting goes. The biggest thing that jumps out to you when watching Brown's film is his athletic ability. He regularly extends plays and finds receivers down the field or takes off for chunks of yards with his legs. Brown has shown the ability to put touch on passes to the sideline and put the ball exactly where his receiver can make a clean play on the ball."

"He excels at the most important part for a QB, accuracy. You don’t just luck your way into a 71% completion percentage and it wasn’t just a one-year fluke because he was over 70 percent his junior year as well." 🤓

"Brown is an impressive eval by Billy Napier and Florida's coaching staff, identifying him late in the cycle and making a strong push."

"While he isn’t a burner by any means, he has adequate speed and elusiveness to make things happen with the ball in his hands. That is evident by his 1,343 yards and 20 touchdowns (to ZERO LPF's) rushing during his senior season."

And from the feveredbrain's mostest bestest WR on the team, there's this:
“He’s talented, he’s got a talented arm. He’s really gifted, you know, he’s got a good touch on the ball, he’s got that zip to it," wide receiver Ricky Pearsall said of Brown. "So he’s gonna be really good."

So feveredbrains, go argue your idiot drivel with all of them, because I'm again tired of your troll BS....

The feveredbrains 'Flavor of the Week' QB has a MONSTER level of competition.

FHSAA Football State Championships S-1....

On 11/25/22, the Moore Haven varsity football team lost their away playoff game against First Baptist Academy (Naples, FL) by a score of 49-24.

Sign him up quick because he's got to be better than that crappy no HS Competition Brown loser....

ROTF LMFAO!!! 🤣

From the QB Hit List site:

SIZE: Max has excellent size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 195 lbs. I was extremely impressed with this QB's film. He’s super athletic, able to take over a game by his play. Attacks the defense with sharp precision throws but can also hurt you with his speed and quickness while on the run.

A legit Dual Threat. Overall Score 95.56.

They say that about most kids signed. Same with players asked even if the player they are asked about is told later by the coach they might want to portal to find somewhere to be a starter. He now just says in a kind way he supports Brown playing baseball, which takes some time from football, and that he still has a lot to work on at QB.

What does that have to do with Simmons who was on a different team then? His dad is coaching on this team now. Unlike Brown he shows passing in high school required in big time college football.

Only the feverdbrains really knows or can adequately judge the true QB talent, like say WO Engel or the new guy....

Now even more ROTF LMFAO... 😂 🤣 😂

And Oh BTW, was his Dad a multi-year player in the NFL like Max's Dad was?

Go look at his tape. He does the stuff Brown hardly ever did. Hits covered receivers in stride and can deal with teams that have a few FCS and even FBS level defenders on it while still completing passes and not running around like crazy because he is freaking out he has no wide open receivers.

The left-handed signal caller was a key piece in Pahokee’s deep run in the Class 1-Rural playoffs last fall. Simmons in 2022 completed 163-of-242 passes 68% for 3,161 yards and 24 TD's, 9 in's, with a 6.5 YPC rushing.

Looks like he's playing against Jr High teams to me, and even so, his 1-R level stats are not nearly as good as Browns 3A level stats are.

Brown and Simmons are both,,, WHAT THEIR STATS/FLIM SAY THEY ARE....
(not the feveredbrains usual drivel)

While the feveredbarins is exactly what that name says he is.... 😂 🤣 😂

lol.. You want to compare's Pahokee's college players to that division in Oklahoma and unlike Brown he actually hits players that arent wide open regularly.

Was he a star in baseball in OK? How is he on the Gators? Batting average etc?

Sure feveredbrains, go ahead and put up the total player comparisons so I can judge the results, instead of just more of your unsubstantiated BS claims,,, while you constantly move the various comparison goalposts... (various quotes, football division competition levels, Etc...)

BTW, baseball has nothing to do with football when making QB comparisons.... The FACT that Max was projected to be drafted to MLB straight out of HS is meaningless to his QB suitability, except maybe as it speaks to his overall multi-talented athletic ability.

I've tried to be nice about this, but your feveredbrained drivel has worn me out for now... 😴

I thought you said he was pro baseball ready just like his QB skills were SEC ready. Might have mixed you up with someone else though. Maybe you are right and Napier is just hiding his SEC ready passing ability right now.

4-star Peach State tight end gets coaches visit from Florida

Another Mega June Recruiting Visit

Gator's outside linebacker coach Mike Peterson has been out on the road this week visiting a handful of prep prospects at their respective high schools — particularly, in the north Florida and southern Georgia regions.

The former Gators linebacker is scheduled to meet up with a few recruits on Wednesday while embarked upon his current trip, stopping by to see four-star tight end Amir Jackson out of Portal (Georgia). The 6-foot-4-inch, 223-pound end was originally offered by former tight ends coach William Peagler — who has since moved on to the NFL — leaving Russ Callaway as the leader in his recruitment.

Jackson is planning on making an extended trip to Gainesville for the weekend of June 16.

The three-sport standout had 22 catches for 428 yards and four touchdowns in 2022, while also stepping up at the safety position with 71 tackles, two forced fumbles and an interception. He also plays basketball and runs track.
https://gatorswire.usatoday.com/202...-recruiting-amir-jackson-mike-peterson-visit/
WR Kahleil Jackson 6-3 216 rsSo - Hawthorn, FL, Legacy PWO to get a permanent full time ship.

I'm happy for him, and I thought that he should have been on ship from the beginning..
Personally, I believe he's also a better QB than either of the xfers are, and he's a QBdt/Wildcat...

He recorded two receptions for 43 yards last year, and saw a significant amount of snaps in the Gators' Las Vegas Bowl appearance in December. He also caught one of the only 2 TD's scored in the team's spring game on April 13.

The Gators averaged just 209.8 passing yards per game, which ranked No. 90 among 131 FBS teams with a 1/4 NFL drafted QB.... Florida also ranked 90th in pass play percentage and checked in at No. 117 in completion percentage, which marked one of the worst performances in recent program history.
(what BN got by not keeping BillyG on as the WR coach, at least now corrected)

Jus-sayin....

RJ Moten began his college career as a 4-star prospect for Michigan in the 2020 recruiting class. After developing into a starter for Jim Harbaugh’s program, Moten hit the transfer portal following spring practices.

According to Zach Abolverdi with On3 Sports, Moten committed to Billy Napier’s Florida program on Tuesday. The commitment is a sort of homecoming for Moten as his father — Ron Moten — played for the Gators in the 1980s before being drafted by the Philadephia Eagles.

And on a similar note.... 🙄

Good thing that the Gators finally got rid of that 3rd & Grantham bum... He's now jobless and sitting out on a curb, right??? No, another SEC loser HC snapped him up In February of 2022, Grantham agreed to joined Nick Saban's staff at Alabama as a defensive analyst because he don't know chit about defense... (doh, but he's currently he new DL coach for the NFL New Orleans Saints after they quickly hired him away from Saban)

After getting rid of that incompetent bum, in their lone season with Toney at the DC helm, the Gators ranked No. 129 of 131 FBS teams in 3rd-down conversion percentage allowed, and No. 87 in scoring defense and No. 97 in total defense, the second-worst mark in the SEC.... 😏

Now it's on to the 'New & Improved' DC, Austin Armstrong...
He should be much better than Toney, as being any worse would be a long shot.... 😉

48 WR Izaiah Williams 6-0 172 4.46/40 **** commits to BillyG

HS Soph Track - 10.94 100-M

Thanks to Insta for above Info

The Tampa native is one of the fastest guys in the state of Florida this year and has ran a 4.46 40-yard dash that was lasered time and he also has a broad jump of 10-foot-1.

While football is big for Williams, the receiver also runs track, and he posted a 10.94 in the 100-meter dash as a junior.

Williams only played in five games last year but over the last two seasons, he has caught 40 passes for 670 yards and six touchdowns.

https://www.gatorcountry.com/feature/receiver-izaiah-williams-commits-to-the-florida-gators/

Williams missed a good chunk of junior season with a collarbone injury. However, he still helped Tampa Carrollwood Day go 6-4 and make Florida’s 1M playoffs. In 5 games, caught 6 passes for 146 yards and 2 TD. The season before as a sophomore, Williams caught 34 passes for 524 yards and 4 TD at Wiregrass Ranch. Was a key target at Wiregrass Ranch. He's also popped off a 10.9 time in the 100-meter dash before.

Williams recently took part in the OT7 7on7 event in Orlando last month, and caught the eye of 247Sports Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins, who was in attendance for the event.

"Williams first emerged on the nationally recruiting scene as a 10th grader when he was catching passes from Iowa State signee Rocco Becht at Wiregrass Ranch," Ivins wrote. "However, his junior season was derailed by injury as a broken collarbone limited to just four games. A lot of Power Five programs seem to have forgotten about Williams, but it might be time to circle back because he’s the type of wide receiver that can stretch a defense and attack the deeper parts of the field. Williams, who recently clocked a laser-timed 4.46 in the 40-yard dash, scored multiple touchdowns Saturday and proved to be a rather difficult cover out on the perimeter."

You go by how they played when they have been playing for a few years. We arent strong at safety so not sure if he will start for sure or not. He had the most missed tackles on Michigan but maybe his experience will hold off a young guy here - we will see I guess.

Fever,

Auburn & Missouri have weaker OOC schedules. Neither one of them starts - on the road - with Utah - the two time PAC12 conference champ & Cameron Rising - their returning QB1.

The only easy day for gator Football was yesterday.

Utah QB Cam Rising ahead of schedule for ACL rehab, Whittingham says
Utes coach Kyle Whittingham says the quarterback is on track to be ready for season opener vs. Florida.

https://www.sltrib.com/sports/utah-utes/2023/04/29/utah-qb-cam-rising-ahead-schedule/

Neither one of them plays the SOW with Jordan Travis as returning QB1 - the QB we couldn't lay a hand on the entire game.

Top FSU returning players - Along with QB Jordan Travis, running back Trey Benson and receiver Johnny Wilson, as well as defensive stars Jared Verse, Fabien Lovett and Fentrell Cypress III are other key players for the Seminoles entering year four under head coach Mike Norvell.

FSU opens the season against LSU on Sept. 3 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. - Give Noles some credit - another 1st class OOC opponent for game 1.

Hey Numbers, a little help with this Nole write up !
How did Travis do in the Garnet & Gold Spring game ?

Florida Gators to host a couple of On300 prospects on Saturday

The Florida Gators play host to a five-star defensive lineman, four-star tight end and three-star offensive tackle on Saturday.

This weekend a good one for recruiting - but entire month of June should be filled with visits from Talented Players.

With all the work CBN & Staff are doing; IMO, by the end of June, we will know most of this year's (2024) recruiting class.
